A fun eating experience 9/20/2005

When you come in, you get the same thing as everyone. It's a sample of all kinds of yummy things they're making that day. It comes on a big copper platter - one for each person dining - and includes little salads and things, some rice, veggies - and it's all vegetarian. They have lots of interesting things - it's really a lot of fun to try! more

Healthy, plentiful and cheap 8/18/2005

The Ayurvedic Cafe is like nothing else in the Upper West Side. First of all, it has a fixed menu each afternoon and evening: You simply order lunch or dinner and wait for them to bring it to you. Second, it is cheap. Third, it is "all you can eat." Fourth, it is very healthy food, indeed. For even more value, get a health treatment at the Ayurvedic clinic around the corner and get a dinner for free! more
