great atmosphere 8/18/2005

I love the ambiance of this small cinema where you can see truly special art films. This is not the place if you want to see a typical American blockbuster that makes you wander why do they have to spend millions of dollars from that absolute nonsense. Instead this cinema is dedicated to the true film connoisseur. more

Avalon Cinema still the best 8/4/2004

Avalon Cinema is the art movie house in Corvallis. It's quirky, small, and brings the best in US and international film to this college town. Don't expect slick Hollywood here; It's far better. more
