This is a REHAB CENTER, not a medical facility. Doctor's Hospital sent my sister to Autumn Leaves with a 4" OPEN WOUND on her belly, and Autumn Leaves doesn't have the proper equipment to drain her wound nor the knowledge. The staff will ignore a patient who needs something for 3 hours. My sister finally called her stepson to come to the center to get a staff member to help her. My sister asked to be transferred to a hospital, and the doctor refused to let her transfer. I called the hospital to find out how to get her transferred before she dies, and got the proper information. Her son is at the rehab center right now trying to get a social worker or patient advocate to help her get moved so that she can get proper care. This place should be shut down!!! Or, at the very least, not take patients who need medical care. Rehab to ME means helping a person to regain use of a limb - like gaining the strength to walk or to use a hand or an arm. This place needs a LOT of unexpected inspections and the inspector actually talking to random patients. I just want to get my sister OUT of there before she dies!!!
