Disgusting. Well, no surprise, other shops do it too. You just need brake pads, but they will tell you to replace calipers and rotors, of course. No, they can't be resurfaced according to them despite the facts that they never have been resurfaced yest and, according to their very own measurements have 1.5 mm out of the 2 original over the minimum thickness. So they wanted to sell me $1200 brake job (yes, that's two zeroes after 12!) when all the car needed was one set of new brake pads installed on two wheels only. Oh, and they tried to sell me the $30 rotors for 65 bucks. So, their markup on the parts is more than a 100% most likely. And 1.5 hours of labor, of course, to replace only rear rotors and pads, i.e. for a a half an hour job it is a $300/hr. actual rate for a brake replacement! Forget about the law and medical schools, huh?!
