Great Place to Work! 5/24/2011

I moved to Snyder in November of 2009 without a job from Arkansas. I looked all over town for work and came to The Auto Clinic and they put me to work doing some Soda Blasting on their building. I came on staff as a permanent employee that next March. The reason I chose to work here was based on how they do business here, with integrity and honesty. Being in the automotive profession for over 20 years, you get to know how fast you can get a bad reputation by not taking care of business in the right manner. I was impressed by how Robbie and Sarah Jamison manage their business and wanted to come on board. I could have worked anywhere but I believe that God put me here for a reason and its been a very pleasurable experience! It takes years to build a business on the right "foundation" but only a short time to cloud it by taking to heart the mis-information from a customer that didn't tell all the facts. TO CORRECT CUSTOMER REVIEW 10/19/2009

I have to say that I am flabergasted towards a customers that has no to what just happened to him and also the shop that truely went the extra for him and his car. THIS SITUATION IS A SHOPS NIGHTMARE. THE CUSTOMER DID BRING HIS CAR IN FOR A WATER PUMP. HE SUPPLIED THE PARTS. BUT THIS WAS A TIMING BELT DRIVEN WATER PUMP SO WE SUGGESTED THAT WE REPLACE THE TIMING BELT W/A NEW ONE WHILE WE WERE INVOLVED WITH THE REPAIR. WE INSTALLED A GATES TIMING KIT. WHICH INCLUDES A BELT, TENSIONER, & OTHER PULLIES THAT INVOLVE THE TIMING BELT. WHERE THE PROBLEM COMES IN IS THAT THE NEW TENSIONER CAME W/A NEW BOLT, THAT BOLTED IT TO THE BLOCK. THIS BOLT BROKE WHILE THE CUSTOMER WAS GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT HIGHWAY SPEED. THIS ENG IS A INTERFERANCE ENG, WHICH MEANS THAT THE VALVES WILL MAKE CONTACT W/THE PISTONS IF IT COMES OUT OF TIME. EVERY VALVE IN THE ENG WAS BENT IMEDIATLY. NOT TO GO INTO A VERY LONG WRENCHING ORDEAL. OUR SHOP,OUT OF ITS OWN POCKET PAID OVER 3000.00$ TO REPAIR THIS CUSTOMERS CAR more

THE LOOSE ITEMS THE CUSTOMER IS TALKING ABOUT IS A MAKE SHIFT COLD AIR INTAKE KIT THAT HE OR SOME OTHER UNCERTIFIED PERSON PUT TOGETHER ON HIS CAR AND WE ASKED HIM FOR REFERENCE ON HOW HE WANTED IT RECONNECTED. THIS WAS THE ONLY QUESTION WE HAD TO HOW HE HAD IT JERRY RIGGED ON HIS CAR. I FEEL FOR THE CUSTOMER THAT THE CAR WAS DOWN FOR RUFFLY 3 WEEKS. THIS TIME WAS DUE TO THE UNAVALABILITY OF HARD ENG PARTS FOR AN AUDI. WE DID CONTACT THE CUSTOMER TO ALLOW HIM TO KNOW WHERE WE WERE IN THE REPAIR BUT NOT ON A DAILY BASES. THE CUSTOMER WAS WORKING OUT OF A SERVICED AREA AND WOULD DROP IN IN THE EVENINGS TO CHECK THE STATUS. SO WHY WOULD I HAVE TO CALL HIM ANY MORE. FOR THIS I FELT WOULD HAVE BEEN A FURTHER BURDEN. THE THING THAT UPSETS ME THE MOST IS THAT A CUSTOMER LIKE THIS SEES NO GRACE. HE IS NOT THE ONLY VICTIM OF THIS SITUATION. NOBODY IS ANY SORRIER THAN THE AUTO CLINIC FOR THIS MISFORTUNATE SITUATION. BUT I CAN HONESTLY SAY TO ANYONE WHO READS THIS REVIEW THAT THE AUTO CLINIC DID EVERYTHING IN ITS POWER TO SERVICE THIS CUSTOMER TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY AND RESOURCES. Worst experience 10/10/2009

Worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic. I would never take my care there again. I went in for a simple water pump change on my Audi A4. Til this day, I am having trouble with my vehicle. My timing belt came off and left my car in the shop for a month. I was 4 hours away from home when this happened. He failed to give me a yellow warranty card that would have been useful if I had had it @ the time of the breakdown. Instead I had to call someone from home to tow my car back . All the mechanic had to say was that he was sorry. Even after I had taken it to the mechanic to get it fixed; I had to return 3 more times with different issues. When I got my car back, I noticed that there were some loose items in the car that were not connected. When I confronted him about this, his response was that he meant to ask me where those were supposed to be connected.The same mechanic blamed the part store for the length of time it took to get my car running. week after week they would promise that my car would be ready. To this day my car still smokes, the coolant still leaks from the reservoir, and a P0411 code comes up in my car. What makes me mad the most is that not once that my car was in the shop did they call to let me know the status of my car or when it was ready. I always had to physically got to the shop if I wanted to find out if it was ready!!! For a month, I was w/out a car. I used to take pride in my car, but not I'm embarrassed to even take it out.Don't get me wrong. They do a great job with domestic vehicles.But from what I have experienced, I can't validate their experience on an Audi. Especially with what I had to go through. Friendly speedy service 3/5/2008

The guys at The Auto Clinic are efficient and quick. They got my car in and out in no time. My whole family goes there. They are cheap in price but not quality. more
