Good Place - But Bad Rep 1/3/2011

This place has gotten a bad rep lately. I don't know why. I've gone there many times usually for holiday shopping and it's normally very busy. The jewelery stores are very competitve and usually willing to haggle on the price. Now I always shop at the same store thats family owned and run by father and son. People think the stuff there is fake - I assure you it is not -IF YOU SHOP AT THE RIGHT PLACE. Ask for referrals from people who have gone there before. If you have a bad feeling walk away. But I have shopped so many deals on not only jewelry but also smaller items and gift sets. I noticed the left side (when walking in from the front enterance) is better as regards to sellers. They have a few GOOD jewelery stores, the car stereo place and the 99c store. The clothing are not my taste but the prices are way tooo good. All in all - go there and see for yourself. When off holiday you can get good deals to bec of the competition. Check it out for yourself and good luck! more

The leather belts and luggage I bought is FANTASTIC, very good quality, bought it 3 years ago, still in good shape, the store is near to the food court. They also sells biker's staff too. more

Well I won the court case! However when I went to collect the judgment I was told that the company went out of business. The name on the booth had changed.I got this information at the new named booth by non other than the guy that sold me the ring 4 years ago hummmmmmm stay far away, smells like somethings rotten there. more

bought a ring from first vender at entrence 11/8/2008

I came to find out it was clarity enhanced 4 years after purchase. The Federal Trade Commision is on our side .It is against the law to not disclouse in plain english...not initials..CE. which i was told was certified execellent. If you purchased diamonds there have a real jeweler take a look at it see if you got scamed.Court day comming up soon. more

Your not missing anything.. 2/16/2008

the last time i baught jewlery here [a belly ring] it broke within one week. because most vendors dont give you a recipt your basically screwed and out of your money. i dont recommend buying jewlery here. the gold is not real gold and the metal breaks easy. the clothing ranges from so-so to terrible..if you get a good deal you might get something that lasts one season..the food thier is ok but overall i would say its not too nice of a place. the vendors arent nice. the place is not clean. so your really not missing anything. more

can't stand the wait!! 5/15/2007

My now fiance purchased my engagement ring at a vendor at this market, and on Mother's Day asked me to marry him. I love the ring, but now I'm waiting for the damn place to open up again so I can get it resized. They really need to do something about the hours of availability. At least open it up one more day! more

Hard to shop here. 4/1/2006

The Attias flea market is difficult to shop. It’s not laid out well, it’s not very clean, and the vendors are unremarkable. I’ve gotten a few Ok deals on jewelry, but nothing to get too excited over. In general, the quality of most of the merchandise ranges from so-so to terrible. They are open Thurs-Sun, and all week around the holidays and back to school. Skip it, you won’t miss much. more

Good deals can be had here 9/22/2005

I've been to the Attias Flea Market a few times and have always found a good deal here. There is a wide variety of merchandise - you can find just about anything you need here. There are plenty of jewelry stations, so if you're looking for a particular style bracelet, you can shop around to find the best deal and some vendors may even match another's price. Best deals on jewelry can be had if you pay cash. They also have some very nice christening and communion outfits for the little ones if you're in the market for that. I highly recommend the Attias Flea Market. more

Average Flea Market 8/10/2005

This is your average flea market. Not anything special, nor anything horrible. It is fairly large, and has a wide selection of clothes, magic tricks, toys, and cheap haircuts. It is in a good location in Sayville. Nothing shines out about this Flea Market, hence the 'Flea.' It isn't too expensive and you can find rare things, yet you can also find complete garbage. This isn't anything to get excited over. more

Varies from booth to booth 8/9/2005

Attias Flea Market, located at the southwest corner of Sunrise Highway and Broadway Av. in Sayville, is a bustling venue when it is open (Thurs-Sun and holidays). Since there are many, many vendors, of course the quality has to vary. Your best bets would be the collectible and sports card booths, some of the clothing booths and the candy booths. more
