Best

I have read some of these reviews, and i wonder if they are talking about the same doctor! Dr. Biggs has been more than amazing and attentive to me in a very difficult situation....

Worst

Dr. Vanessa Biggs of Atlanta Women's Ob/Gyn delivered our first child this past weekend, and our experience with her was unpleasant at best. I gave the overall practice three star...

I'll let you be the judge 3/23/2009

My wife and I came here for our 1st pregnancy. I'm a patient person, so a couple of magazines or a novel is fine for the wait. After moving to the second waiting area that takes you out of the very large waiting room to much smaller waiting room, crowded, we met the the Doctor who was very nice and personable! Our second visit we were told that we were late. My wife was scolded about this. One of the nurses was making comments to another nurse about "I can't believe she has the nerve to be an hour late" right behind our backs. The nurses asked us what test she has had, keep in mind we just transfered from a specialist so just about every test you can think of was ran on my wife. We told them to look at the medical records. Instead of that they just proceeded to re-run the blood test$$$. Finally, moving through the coral we met the Nurse Practitioner. Cold Indeed. We did however meet a different Doctor who was very nice, funny and personable! Great! On the way out, they apologized because they found the computer records that showed they had made the mistake and we were not late. LOL. Third experience. We were told to see a Ultra-Sound specialist. My wife had to call Atlanta OB/GYN three times to get the Ultra-Sound scheduled because Atlanta OB/GYN didn't call us or them to schedule it. Finally got it schedule? We show up to the Ultra-Sound and are told that we are not scheduled for that day but a week later. This was the last day we could have that Ultra-Sound so Atlanta OB/GYN and the Ultra-Sound Specialist proceeded to bicker back and forth for about 2 hours trying to blame the other while they decided if they could fit us in that day. They did. After having the Ultra-Sound and reading the medical chart the Doctor ask why my wife is on Lovenox (Blood Thinners) and doesn't see a reason for her to give herself a shot anymore and tells her she can get off them. Two weeks after that visit we get a call from Atlanta OB/GYN urgently telling us to get back on the Lovenox because they screwed up with the file! more

Midwives 8/18/2005

Atlanta OBGYN has a midwife department that is fantastic. It's not the granola eating, give birth in a field experience that my friends expected at all. They are part of this large office but make you feel as if you are the only patient they have. I loved every minute of my experience with them and felt very safe. I gave birth at Piedmont Hospital and they encouraged me to get pain meds too, so it does not have to be all natural. I still feel a tug at my heart every time I pass their office. more
