Ok, maybe not so much. But where else can you look around and notice that of the seven people in the theater, you're the only one not reading a newspaper, breastfeeding, smoking, or some combination of the three? I prefer an older theater, no matter how small and stinky, over a brand new multiplex that lacks any character and charges $10 for one ticket. Plus there's a little park nearby if you get there too early and you can walk down the street to food, beer, and ice cream.
