Aspen Bread & Bagel

I usually do not write reviews at all but the experience ive had multiple times at this place has forced me to create an account for urban spoon just so i could write this review! I gave this place the benefit of the doubt the first couple times but i do not think these are accidents. The service is bad here on a daily basis, and a few of the employees are VERY rude. They take forever just to take your order at the drivethru and dont even aknowlege they know your there and ask you to wait a moment. When they finally take your order, you wait, and wait and wait. I would leave and take my lunch break somewhere else but when your already by the building waiting on the car ahead of you, theres no place to turn. by that point im already irritated and the employees can tell by the look on my face, only to be rude and not even apologize. Knowing how slow and bad the service is, i have even ordered over phone, online, everything in hopes that picking up a sandwhich wont take up my entire lunch break. Go to pick it up and STILL waiting for 20 min and on a couple occasions i have gotten the wrong order. Now im a regular customer because the food is very very good but i have almost convinced myself that the delicious food is not even worth the bad experience i have every single time i go there. Something needs to change immediatly!!!! more

I absolutely love the bagels here. They are large and very fresh! They offer a variety of flavors, from blueberry to onion. They also have several flavored cream cheese toppings. If buying for the office, this is the place to go. You can get a bakers dozen and 2 tubs of toppings for a reasonable price. They allow you to mix the bagels however you like. They offer other items like fresh baked breads, muffins, brownies and coffee (which I don't drink, so I'm not sure of the taste). Inside is very nice and clean. They also have a drive-thru window for those in a hurry. more

Aspen Bread and Bagel offers home made breads that you can take home or have dressed up there in the store and eat in their dining area. I've had their coffe and bagels. The bagels are not New York bagels, but they are good. They offer toppings such as butter or cream cheese, and again, not bad, but not New York style. And the coffee is ok, but I've had better. The breads are also good, fresh baked and there are many varities. Again, good. Not a bad place to get a nosh, but there are other places in town with better bagels. more
