She makes you feel comfortable, she talks to you like your her long lost friend...excellent!!! In addition, everyone who works there are really friendly; they make you feel at home and most importantly they care about you!!! Especially Julie, a lot of my friends and family liked what she did to my hair...not a lot of stylist are really good when it comes to men's hair...but I'm telling you she will treat your hair like a piece of art!!! I needed to cut my hair and get beautiful highlights, and so one of my friends that went to aspect once introduced me to ZIZI, and told me all about her good work. ZIZI not only she cut my hair the way I wanted but even better than what I expected with breath taking highlights, she gave my eyebrows the best shape possible and after that I have been getting lot of complements and people tell me I look 10 times younger than before. ZIZI not only is good at what she does but she has the best personality and sense of humor and I had a very good time with her. I can't appreciate her enough. more

I have had problem skin since I can remember and I have been trying everything you can think of to get rid of the blemishes. Courtney is my hero. She knew exactly how to calm down my sensitive skin and get rid of the scarring. She has a world of knowledge about skincare and helps you find whats best for you. I all the way out from the LAX Airport area to see Nadia not just because I trust her, but because I'm always entertained with friendly conversation and an enjoyable atmosphere, and on the days when I just want to relax and in a quiet mood, I know I can sit back, relax, and not have to worry about a thing. This was my first visit to Aspect Beauty. They are very friendly and professional from the moment you enter the spa. The facial with Courtney was absolutely wonderful. I'm already looking forward to my next one. She is extremely knowledgable, pleasant and sweet and made me feel comfortable from the start. She didn't judge or make me feel self conscious about any flaws with my skin and explained the products she used and the services they offer, but most importantly didn't push anything on me. The facial was the fastest 55 minutes, but very relaxing an worth every $. I thought the 55 minutes go slowly. The mini massage was wonderful and actually relieved alot of t the pain I was experiencing in my injured shoulder. I look forward to my next visit with Courtney. Thank you. more

Like many of the other reviewers, I have been going to Rafael for a couple of years. Each time I leave his chair, I feel amazing and get many compliments on my haircut. I left San Francisco for LA over four years ago, and tried a three different hairstylists at two different Aveda salons and Allen Edwards in Woodland Hills. At first, the haircuts were okay. However, I have found that many Los Angeles stylists feel that they have you as a client after your third visit. This is not the case. The first time I made an appointment with Rafael at Aveda was by complete coincidence. (Someone recommended a stylist - who was booked). I took the appointment, because I desperately needed a haircut. He did an amazing job and knew how to handle my curly hair. Each time I visit him, I know I am in good, conscientious hands. I leave feeling beautiful and radiant. Regarding the Asian hair post: My sister went to a popular hairdresser in Koreatown (cheaper and near her work) and ended up looking horrible. She saw Raphael ASAP. Various cultures have differing opinions on aesthetics. Pros: Rafael Cons: unfriendly front desk, owner tries tooooo hard more

I went for a ?magical spa? pedicure with my friend?..big disappointment from the very beginning ? they don?t have those chairs with tabs and there is no space for more than one person at a time! You have to sit in a tiny room, on a chair that has a mind of its own and keeps rolling all over the place when you move! The girl was very nice but it could not make up for the bad facilities! Towels ? dirty! Selection of nail polish ? very poor! NO hot water (I had to wait for the poor girl to heat up some water in a kettle!) The only good thing about my pedicure was the scrub, which removed all of my rough spots on the heels and toes??.but still I think it was NOT worth $38!!!! more

they are very expensice but are definatly worth it. They make sure you get the results you want with as little damage done to your hair as possible. my hair is always soft and smooth, and i do alot of coloring and highlighting...they do great haircuts that match your face... you always leave happy...Nadia is the lady i always go to.... i have been her costumer since 2005 Pros: personalize service great owner more

Nadia is one of the greatest stylists out there. She's extremely professional and very in tune with your needs. She doesn't impart her style on you. She made sure that I was completely satisfied with my hair cut. What really impressed me was that I came back with a complaint and she smiled and took time out to fix it for me. That was enough to convince me. Other times I've been there Nadia has always smiled and remembered me and taken very good care of me. She is someone who truly loves what she does and isn't there for the money, rather she embodies the ideal of "Customer Satisfaction." I know that some people will complain about price, but you really get what you pay for and much more. I can't comment on some of their other services, but from what I've seen, this place is much better than places like Supercuts where they'll simply cut your hair and shove you out the door. Every time I've been there, I've come out with a great cut and people have commented on my style. I'm no expert when it comes to cuts, but I'm a customer and I was very satisfied. more

These people are great, i have found my next hair stylist. i've been jumping from salon to salon for a while now looking for a place where i can get a good hair cut and i have found it. When you go ask for nadia she is the best. now everytime i go i ask for her. I used to hate going to get my hair cut cause all other people where horrible but now with her i go every three weeks. I started laser hair removal at Aspect Beauty, after the owner Gavin made me feel so welcome upon entering the spa, and just let me say, not only am I pleased beyond words with the laser hair removal part, my 2 nurses Nicole and Amanda are so awesome. I wish I could get the nurses and doctors to treat me with same care at my hospital. I feel so completely cared for. I really love my experience with Aspect Beauty and really encourage anyone thinking of trying somwhere you can get great, affordable services for onesself, to give them a shot, you will not be let down. I have been considering laser hair removal for several years. One day I walked into Aspect and was greeted by Jeanne. I have never received such great customer service. Jeanne talked to me about hair removal and the specials were that were going on. Not only did I sign up, but also my friend. She also set me up with Sandra to style my hair. I was hooked. I went back and had my hair highlighted and cut by Sandra, and my hair has never looked so good. What a blessing Sandra is. The nurses Nicole and Amanda are very professional and make you feel at ease. Throw in a little humor and kindness also. Also, I can not forget Carol, who worked with me while I was waiting, with cosmetics and colors. It was a lucky day when I walked into the salon and tell all my friends what a great salon Aspect Beauty is. Pros: The staff is great Cons: I can not think of one more

Zizi is amazing! I had her do my eyebrows and I feel like a new woman. She is truly an artist and treats every brow hair as though it was a brushstroke on a painting. It was also such a relaxing fun experiance with her. What could have been painful and scary was painless and soothing. She also has some special unique tricks that I have never seen anywhere. It is called "threading"..which is hair removal with twisted tread. Sounds painful ..but NO..much less painful than wax..and magically leaves NO skin irriation! WILD huh? It is true! You would be lucky to get to have perfect eyebrows by Zizi! Pros: Perfect eyebrows, great experiance, calming atmosphere Cons: NO cons! WOW! more

Nadia Telounts is an amazing stylist and awesome colorist. She has kept me up to date with current styles and color, which continues to lend compliments from those closest (most honest) to me, as well as strangers (not obligated to say anything at all). My styles have ranged from medium length to short and from current to edgy. Nadia's talent for color is by far the best I have ever received or even seen. I have recommended her to others and they too have become apart of her clientele. No matter where you are in Southern California, I highly recommend Nadia for both style and color. You won't regret it. Plus, she's absolutely sweet, honest, and on time! more

I have had a facial by Courtney Twice already and both time's were a great experience!! She makes me feel comfortable, she is also the type that is not scared to get in there and really do the job...... but at the same time very cautious. I would recommend her to anyone, especially if you have a specific need for Acne care. more

I have had the same lady cut my hair while living in Laguna Niguel for five years. It took a long time to find her, for I have had a challenging history with my hair. I have many cowlicks and it takes a real pro to be able to work with them (they each have a personality of their own. Kind of like Multiple Personality Disorder only with hair. In the O.C. I was connected. But in January this year, I moved to the Valley. I knew that one of my biggest challenges I faced was finding someone who was a "Hair Whisper". I must have done something right lately, for Melinda was the very first stylist that I contacted after I moved here. I expected several bad experiences before I could find MY hair dresser. Melinda has been cutting my hair for about a year. I moved to Aspect when she did. I sure hope this company knows what they have with Melinda. If anyone reading this needs special attention with their hair, Melinda will make it look fantastic! more

i went to raphael because of all the rave reviews on city search and was disappointed in my haircut. i am asian with straight hair (not dyed, permed or anything) which is relatively healthy. somehow he managed to cut layers in a way that makes my hair look frizzy. i asked for a cut that's easy to maintain- but now i have to curl or flat iron it to make it have any style. i've NEVER had this problem before... i think he just layered it very poorly. it's growing out horribly too. I'll have to get it fixed. usually- i can work with any type of cut, high end or supercuts... but he cut layers in places that just don't make sense nor look good! i think he may not know how to cut asian hair? he doesn't know how to cut hair to match texture or lifestyle either. I was so disappointed. the only perk is getting your hair washed on the table. that was a relaxing experience. more
