I have been a patient of Harold Ashcraft for over 25 years. He and Kent have a great office at 8735 La Tijera Blvd. Note: Judy has an old address listed. I have found Harold to be an excellent eye care professional. And he's really nice too. Harold and Kent both have the credentials too as you can see below. The one lady who gave them a bad rating is just plain ignorant, in my humble opinion.
Dr. Harold T. Ashcraft O.D.
Dr Harold Ashcraft has recieved two Bachelor of Science Degrees with Honors as well as his Doctor of Optometry Degree with Distinction (1984). He is a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi, and Beta Sigma Kappa honor Societies. He is also a member of the American, California and Los Angeles County Optometric Societies.
Dr. Ashcraft has been the recipient of many awards and scholarships including the Ave Custos Ocuil Award for ourstanding achievement in contact lens studies, the Bertram Roberts Award for expertise in ocular pathology and special testing, the Bernell Scholarship Award, the Tri-Counties Award, the American Optometric Society Award, and the Dr. Herbert Dixon Award. As valedictorian of his class, he was awarded the Beta Siga Kappa Silver Medal.
Dr. Ashcraft specializes in computerized fitting of all types of contact lenses. He is married and has seven children. He is also fluent in German.
Dr. Kent D. Ashcraft O.D.
Dr Kent Ashcraft has three advance degrees. He is a member of the Weber State University Scholastic Society as well as the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Society and the Quality Eyecare Alliance.
After completion of specialty training in ocular disease detection at the Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic in Los Angeles, Dr Ashcraft recieved additional clinical training in contact lenses, visions training and low vision at the Optometric Center of Fullerton
He has done research on the relationship between sports vision and contrast sensitivity acuity. He enjoys hiking, skiing, and camping. He is married and has six children.
