My mother passed away last year and it was her last gift and wish to me that I wear her wedding band. I wanted to honor my mother's wish and at the same time I wanted to have a ring that represented me. So I decided to have my mom's yellow gold Rhodium Plated to white gold. I looked around and visited several jewelry shops and was not completely convinced or pleased at the level of service and it was very important to me that my mom's ring was handled with tendor loving care. I finally came across Ascot Diamonds. From the moment I spoke to Marlene on the phone I knew I had found a winner. Her warm professionalism made me feel that my ring would be in capable hands and guess what, I was right! When I took my ring in I noticed how very secured and professional the office was. I was taken to a private consultation room where all the attention was given to me and my ring. I must say it was a wonderful experience! Speaking with Marlene felt more like speaking with a friend. She was patient, kind, professional and very attentive to my needs and request and I couldn't be more please with the results! My ring was gorgeous! Along with the Rhodium Plating, they appraised, fixed one of the prongs and cleaned it to perfection! I am a client for life! Late last year, I quickly realized what an overwhelming process engagement ring hunting was???? until I was introduced to Ascot Diamonds and Brittany. I visit twelve different jewelers in town and found a variety of promises, prices, and timelines. None of which aligned with what I was truly hoping for. I was ready to settle and compromise until I was referred by a friend to Brittany and Ascot Diamonds. What was one more place to look at when I had visit so many others. I had never heard of using a private jeweler and did not know what to expect. After making an appointment, I had the entire place to myself. The stressful, nervous feeling I had throughout this process seemed to go away the second I went in the door. I looked through the prepared selection Brittany had for me waiting and instantly saw the ring for my wife to be. It was everything I was looking for. My challenges going into it were size, time, and price. Brittany took care of all three. Other jewelers told me I had to know her ring size and that I needed to ask her. I didn?t want to ask??that would take away all of the surprise. Brittany set the ring at a standard size and told me it could be adjusted at anytime. The second concern was time and how soon before I could get it. Other jewelers were saying 3-4 weeks with the holiday rush?..I didn?t have the patience to wait. Brittany solved that challenge by letting me leave with the ring that day! The last concern was price??.wanting to get the best deal for my money, I did a lot of pricing comparison. I told Brittany my budget and she delivered the ring of my dreams that was almost 10k below what other jewelers offered. For a much bigger diamond with similar quality. I left the experience with the confidence that my fianc?e would be amazed and proud to wear the ring for the rest of her life. She absolutely loves the ring and is practically obsessed with it to say the least. So are all of her friends. We went back to Ascot for the re-sizing which took no more than 30 minutes. As a comparison, I had been told up to a week from other jewelers. I absolutely recommend Brittany and Ascot Diamonds for a truly amazing experience that you will always remember. My experience with Ascot has been very pleasant on each occasion that I have had the pleasure in working with their employees. Most of my dealings have been with Brittany Smith and I have also had the pleasure working with Matt. Additionally, I have attended several of their hosted or sponsored events and I have met several of their other employees. The atmosphere permeates that everyone is very happy and passionate about what they do at Ascot.
