My personal experience with Art's is actually a lot better than what people have posted here and other places. Out of the neighborhood, Art's stands out to be the place I refer my friends to in the Sunset Irving side. Although the wait is sometimes long, you can't argue against the price and food. Their food is cooked right in the open where you can see it, unlike some other cafes in the area. I would like to point out that their Art's breakfast special is filling and cheap. Definitely a good place to find cheap food if you're around the area more

I can't understand why this place has a 4 star rating. ?The customer service is absolutely non-existent, the chef is so lazy, the grill is disgustingly dirty especially where the food falls on the side. ?Gordon Ramsay would have a fit if he sees this place. ?Moreover, the bacon is pre-cooked and is just stacked on top of the grill. ?How very unsanitary! ?The place is so small, there is always a wait. ?Just don't bother! Diner 6/3/2008

This place is cool, there are not tables and chairs, it is just one long diner bar where everyone sits together. The breakfast is good and it's fun to watch them make your meal right in front of you. It's small though so if it's packed you are not getting in. The limited seating is a little tough, but if you want to wait you will get a good meal. It's also cash only so come prepared. more

Friendly small diner 8/23/2006

This is a Korean/American diner. Narrow counter with around 10 swivel chairs. No frills but that's not what you come for. Their specialty is hashbrown sandwiches. Good for a breakfast. Local hang-out. Pros: Hashbrown sandwiches Cons: Cramped, only open til early afternoon more
