Arthur's

I've been to Arthur's a few times and have never been impressed. Salads are made with soggy lettuce and old tomatoes, sandwiches are nothing special. Meals are way overpriced even for Hyde Park and the food is ""JUST OKAY"" Craft beers are over priced and the only thing worth going for is a burger and Happy hour. Service is pretty decent but that doesn't make the food taste any better. Try Zolas or Terry's Turf to get your moneys worth! more

Delicious burgers, beautiful wait staff, and cheap beer. Nothing more you could want. Come early on the weekends because it gets crowded early and people stay late. I have been there for 6 hrs and left wasted, full, and only 40 bucks poorer. Great place for big groups and talking to the smoking hot waitresses. My boyfriend & I went to Arthur's recently on a Friday night and spent around $25 for two shots, a martini and two beers.... WOW! I was sure they had mischarged us - it's refreshing to find a bar that's not serving drinks for $12 in Hyde Park. It's like Cheers in Cincinnati. I was visiting some friends out in Cincinnati, and I stumbled upon this restaurant based on it's rating. I can say that it was one of the best dining experiences that I've had in some time. The staff was EXTREMELY courteous and friendly. We never ""waited"" for anything. The food came promptly, and was delicious. I went for a burger and one of my friends had the Greek salad. They were both excellent, but that didn't stop me from coveting everything that came from the kitchen as it ALL looked good. It probably also helped that it was Summer and the outside deck area proved to be an extremely refreshing change of pace. I can't really explain it, but the deck has a ""medieval"" feel to it (perhaps it was the brick/gaslit lamps) that I came to appreciate. This was an all around good time. Arthur's has the best burger that I know of! And make sure to try the Fried Flounder sandwich on Fridays! Fairly good selection on the menu, priced from cheap to expensive. When you first enter Arthur's the ambience leaves something to be desired, however it opens into a large back room reminiscent of an old pub. The outdoor dining is beautiful on a nice day. The food is very good and there is a varied selection. The owners are also very community service oriented. more

I don't understand how Zip's can get Best Burger in Cincinnati all the time. Maybe it's b/c it is the ONLY thing worthy on their menu?!?! Whereas, Arthur's has great food all-around...not to mention their fabulous burgers. Zip's burgers have nothing on Arthur's. Aurthurs has the top burger in Cincinnati. If you want a new experience then try the Boursin Burger. It is outstanding. Give it a try then head around the corner for some Graeter's Ice Cream... Makes for a delicious night. Aurthurs also has one heck of a Bloody Mary served with a small beer chaser! Check it out! more
