If you want to support local budding artists, go to Art Mart! It is a huge co-op, that has a ton of original art! It is so much fun to go in and look around at everything they have to offer. They always have great photographs of Boulder, the foothills and Colorado in general. They also have a wonderful selection of candles and jewelery! My kids love going in there because the staff is so nice to them and they always get a free balloon! more

Stepping into Art Mart off of the Pearl Street Mall is like walking into an arts and crafts street fair several block long. Art Mart stocks thousands of items from hundreds of Artisans, and the crafts range from jewelry to woodworking to papercraft and so on. If you’re looking for a unique gift, try this place. more

Eclectic Mix of Things to Browse 8/7/2005

The Art Mart is one of those fun places to step into while you're wandering Pearl Street. It's got a rather eclectic inventory, but the overall feel is southwestern - or perhaps just western - but with some other cultures of the world thrown in. Lots of candles, jewelry, a variety of different types of art and just tons of other interesting odds and ends to view. A lot of the merchandise seems suited to young, college-aged clientele. more

Crafts and Art 6/28/2005

The Art Mart is one of the larger stores on the Pearl Street Mall. It does a great job of displaying a little bit of culture from just about every corner of the world. I would say that there arts are more on the crafty side then a representation of the arts. The prices are a little bit high, and the customer service isn't that great, usually because they are really busy. more
