A day at the races 5/3/2006

This historic racetrack has to be one of the most spectacular ones in the country. In the last couple of decades this park has been completely rebuilt and improved and boasts beautiful grounds and stunning architechture. They have daily races throughout the Spring and Summer and also have many special events held at this park. I highly recommend you go to the paddock to get a closeup look at the horses and jockeys before the big race. I attended one of the largest races here (The Breeder's Cup) and won a few bucks myself! I am 'gambling' on the fact that you folks who haven't been here will visit this season and have a great time. more

They hit the winning combination 3/19/2006

This place is just amazing. I had no idea a racetrack could be this beautiful. The landscape alone is worth the trip. There is so much you can do here, and it's not just about placing that winning bet on your favorite horse. Arlington constantly has special days like Party in the Park with live bands, or Family Day with a petting zoo, or special theme events and promotional giveaways. It's just a wonderful place to spend the day. Metra train stops at the door and there's plenty of parking. more

Great Race Track 2/20/2006

This is a great place to spend a weekend with the family. The race track is not just about watching the horse races and it not only for horse race enthusiasts. In fact, even children enjoy this place because there is so much to so here. You can enjoy the weather here, hang out with friends, and enjoy good food at this place. Its a fun and lively place to be, especially in the summer when the weather is good and you can enjoy the outdoors. more

Race Track in Arlington Heights 8/16/2005

I went here for a work outing once. I have to admit I was totally not looking forward to it. I'm just not a big fan of horse races. But I ended up having so much fun. I was really amazed with the well-kept and beautifully landscaped fields. And though I am not a fan of the races, I thoroughly enjoyed being at this beautiful facility, soaking in the sun, having good food, and basically having a blast with a bunch of friends! This is a place you must visit at some point and you can take your entire family -- every one in your family will enjoy the experience and it is a great family outing! more
