I went in to see Katie and was just thinking it would be fun to try. I ended up loving my results! They were simply amazing, the whole time was so relaxing, and Katie was far beyond wonderful! She is an expert on the whole line of products that she sells, and was able to recommend products for my skin type and for any corrections that I wanted to see with my skin. The best part about the whole thing? My husband noticed right away how great my skin looked! I have since been back and plan on making this part of my regular schedule. I absolutely love the products that I bought and the results get better each day! Use the groupon and go see Katie! She is worth every penny spent! more

Holy Crap. I just got the most AMAZING facial from Kim at Ariel's Skincare. This was my third facial at Ariel's but my first time seeing Kim and I tell you what, I will absolutely be going back to see her. I loved Ariel's the minute I walked in for the first time. They provide great service, the staff are all knowledgeable and helpful and even Ariel herself has consulted me several times on how she and her staff can help with my skin issues. I have a good amount of hyper-pigmentation from living on Arizona for nearly 30 years and almost 20 years of birth control. Since I have been going to Ariel's my skin has improved dramatically. The dark spots have faded, my pores are smaller, the fine lines are fading and my overall skin tone and texture is much better. Plus, Ariel's carries great products including bare minerals which I love and Eminence skin care, which I love evenmore. Of course treatments and products aren't cheap, but the cost is totally worth it. If you love your body and what to look and feel as good as you possibly can, then you need to go to Ariel's. more

This place was not exactly what I had planned, relaxing facial NOT EVEN close. To start off while waiting for my appt, the owner comes running in and starts screaming at the receptionist. Once I was shown to my room it was incredibly dirty including the towels and bathroom, it really needed to be cleaned. As I was receiving my treatment I heard the owners voice outside the door, again, yelling at someone to get her something, can't we please have peace.!! the therapist apologized and I could tell she was uncomfortable. By this time I was finished with my facial I had not been able to relax at all. I would not go back , I wouldn't recommend this place. For the price there are a lot better places to go in town and much more professional. Not the friendly neighborhood place I had once thought. skip the groupon, not worth it. more

I went to Ariel a few months ago after purchasing a groupon. The care, warmth, and knowledge she shared while treating me was simply amazing. In fact, after that visit, I did more research into what she had shared with me, and it led me to change the way I eat (and I already ate healthy, unprocessed food!). My mom just asked me what I want for Christmas, and my answer is more treatments from Ariel. I can't wait to make another appointment! more

I went to Ariel's Skin Care and Saw Kerri. I immediately connected with her and was able to talk to her about my skin like she had been seeing me for years. She has a lot of experience and it shows. I had a fantastic facial with her, and she gave me lots of pointers and tips on how to properly take care of my skin. My skin is super soft after the mircrodermabrasion and I felt wonderful. She also told me about the ultimate Trio Facial, she said it would give me the results I was looking for. I came back for this and it was the best thing I have ever done. Being more on the mature side I wanted to do something that I would see results with. I sure did! My face was so tight and lifted when I left. It was amazing and even my husband commented on it. I am always looking forward to seeing her the next time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a seasoned professional in the esthetics field. I would know about such matters. Ask anybody who knows me well and they'll tell you I am the Grand Mistress (as opposed to Master) of the facial. This little boutique of a facial salon is highly effective in it's light treatment services and the staff is extremely knowledgeable of their product line. Very selective, very good. I highly recommend, would be a fantastic gift--they do gift certificates. Julene is a delight and is a highly experienced esthetician and walks the client thru step by step. She doesn't "oversell." She doesn't have to. Ariel, the owner of the Salon is wonderful and I always look forward to my appts. Pros: Knowledge based, very professional, measurable results... Cons: None. I'm serious. more

I have been working with Julene at Ariel's Advanced Skincare, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I went to her a few weeks ago with a bad breakout and red splotches/scarring on my very fair skin. She immediately halted the breakout and sped up the recovery process in a way I did not think was possible for my face. I have had extractions, etc. before in excellent salons, and Julene is by far the most careful, thorough, kind, skilled esthetician ever to work on me. Julene and Ariel have a highly educated but also holistic view of skincare--they taught me all about the lymph system in the face and neck, which I had no idea was contributing to my acne (no esthetician or dermatologist has ever said a thing about it). Julene set me up with some amazing mineral cosmetics that don't irritate or block my skin. She totally understands that I'm working with a budget, and she helped me choose the best products in my price range. I have gone back to Julene a few more times this month for brief touch-up treatments. I wish, wish, wish I had before-and-after pictures, because they would be unbelievable. For the past ten years, I have been wearing concealer and foundation every day to cover blemishes and scars. After just one month, I have much less to conceal, and I'm starting to think that Julene is going to make it possible for me to leave the house without all that cover-up. With my problem skin, it seems like a miracle. She also gave me a quick and perfect brow wax last week! Julene is a true healer and a joy to work with. Everyone should be lining up at her door. I usually don't write this kind of review but I have been so blown away by my positive experience with her that I have to spread the word. I walked into Ariel's Skin Care on a whim one day and was happily surprised to find a relatively cheap solution to the blemishes I've suffered for the past five years. On my walk in the friendly staff advised I try LED treatment. Skeptical, I declined and went home to do research. I discovered it was a legitimate treatment from a number of sources and went back the next to try it. The results were great and have proven to last! I've seen a marked reduction in redness and outbreaks of acne. I highly recommend stopping in for anybody who has struggled through multiple regimes to cure their acne. Ariel has a gift for rejuvenating and making you feel and look10 years younger. I've been to several top notch salons in the Portland area and I've never experienced the state of the art equipment, techniques, professionalism, and products. The microdermibrasion, the LED treatments, micro current, along with the products to maintain your skin like new. I've been going there faithfully and I look 10 years younger and I'm over 50. The owner, Ariel Fauley has researched, keeps educated, and updated on the alternatives to tighten, remove wrinkles, and uses all organic products. She is truly an angel on earth!!! Ariel and Stacy have completely ruined me for facials - I live 2500 miles away and I won't get get one anywhere else! Everything the other reviewers said remains true in 2008. These women have unbelievable skillz, are extremely knowledgeable about skin and remediation, and the products they feature are really effective. On top of all that, they're just seriously nice people. I believe Ariel's going to keep me young-looking looking forever! Ariel is very educated and experienced, her knowledge about skin and treatments is unbelievable. She offers many different treatments customed to your needs and explains what is going on with your skin and what needs to be done to correct it. I've been to many spas and will never go anywhere else besides Ariel. Although she makes sure your comfortable and its a pleasant experience she actually cleans your skin and improves its appearance! She is also very nice and pleasant to talk with and loves her work. For people that aren't looking for the ordinary spa experience and really want to meet a person that knows what it means to be a skin expert make an appointment with her. She also carries a wonderful line of products and has other treatments available like a wrap and detox. Great lady and so talented! I can't believe she doesn't have any reviews, I think people are just scared to give away a best kept secret. Pros: I cant' say enough good things about her! You must go see her.
