To those who are dissatisfied. Did you call customers service after your frame broke apart after 11/2 years.. I would have bet they would have replaced it. They have a lifetime warranty on all of the upholstery frames......... Before you run down a good company s name you should have given them a chance. more

I purchased a sectional sofa from Arhaus furniture in Burlington, Mass. The company was new to the area at the time but the furniture seemed well made. Two years into owning the piece, I had to replace cores in base cushions because they were caving and I was constantly turning them. Now the fabric on all the back cushions and the throw pillows has started to wrinkle. The technician who came out to look at it said it was the backing of the fabric pulling away from the top layer which can not be fixed by any amount of puffing and turning. The Arhaus customer service person just informed me that they have no responsibility for this, because it doesn't relate to the construction. I think this is awful service, they are the ones who offer the fabric choices, why would they offer that fabric if they won't stand behind it. We are not talking about staining or tears, but a breakdown in the fabric construction. I am completely dissatisfied and will never recommend Arhaus to anyone. I will also be sure to put this information out to as many people as I can possibly reach. My last sofa lasted in my house for 10 years and then I handed it down to a friend...it still looks great. This sofa from Arhaus is basically a throw away after only 4 years of use. Terrible , terrible customer service. more

I find Arhaus to have fantastic quaility. i have purchased several items incuding 3 sofas and 4 chairs a kitchen set and outdoor furiture. i'm saddened by the poor reviews i've read. in my experiance if they make a mistake they correct the mistake. it may take time however, it will always be right in the end. i would strongly reccomend Arhaus Furniture to anyone. For quality and over all small company experiance can't be beat. more

Late but gave $200 credit 2/12/2011

Our order (leather recliner) was going to be delivered later than estimated so the Co. gave us a $200 credit (w/o us asking). Chair is in great shape. We will shop here again. thanks more

Baltique couch-cheap junk poorly made 1/30/2011

Good: the color of the cowhide... sadly, that seduced me.. Bad: less than 1 year old... couch snapped appart after regular use. Had an independant furniture man take the couch appart., found this Arhaus Baltique couch, made with stick poplar , staples, and dowels.. Not even properly supported. Had they taken the time to orient the wood grain correctly, and add proper support to back of couch.. It would not be sitting on the street for vagrants to claim.. Improvements: stand behind your products. Dont agrue with customers when you send PHOTOS of a structure defect .. refund, or return policy should support product sales. $3500 down the pisser.. more

YIKES... why didn't I read these reviews before ordering? 1/3/2011

I am angry with myself for not thoroughly checking out this company before I spent an incredible amount of money on a sectional and chair. I guess I thought this was a high end company with great service and prices to match. I am not sure on what I based these opinions. DON'T be fooled by prices... expensive doesn't not mean great service in this case. I can relate to many of these comments.... I am waiting, waiting, waiting.... for our furniture. It took a long time to get waited on, and then when we wrangled a sales person, she was wonderful... spent nearly an hour helping us finalize our purchase. And, then.... NOTHING. I did not receive follow up, information, details, etc. I have had to initiate every thing on our end. More than 8/9 weeks after we gave them enough money to take a great vacation or add a room onto our house, I call them to check on the order status..."oh, part of your order is in, when would you like it?" This after calling several times to inquire as to the delivery details throughout the past couple of months, I was assured that the order would be monitored and I would be notified. I told the person on the phone I would wait for my sales person to call me about delivery (she was unavailable) and to let her know that I called to inquire and found out my order was partially in. . Anyway... I waited another five days to have my sales person call me about it... nothing. This is what I get for trusting someone to keep their word when they have thousands of my dollars. Anyway.., called the manager just to share my experience and tell her my disappointment... her response: I am not sure what it is you would like me to do. I said, I just thought you might like to know my experience as your customer. That's all.... hmmmm, apparently not. more

Great success with Arhaus! 8/16/2010

Finally got that copper table I've been wanting for years. It came quickly and in perfect condition. I exchanged the original chairs I purchased to go with it directly at the store. They gave me a prompt refund and ordered my new chairs with custom fabric seats and all was delivered within a week. Again in perfect condition. Their delivery people were wonderful as well as the sales people in the store. I would love to buy from them in the future. Everything was on sale and I couldn't be happier. more

Chair damaged from everday use and it's my fault 8/3/2010

If I could give 0 stars I would. We bought a very expensive chair and ottoman from Arhaus - about $3000 in all. After a few years of use, both arms of the chair have areas that have collapsed from regular use - try standing up from a chair without using your elbows. I called to have a tech come out and the determination was made that it isn't "structural" so the warranty doesn't cover it. My question is, how can Arhaus sell a chair that basically can't be used without damaging it, then not stand behind it. It's an expensive and poorly made chair. I will NEVER purchase anything else from this company because of this experience. Look elsewhere! more

Copper topped table 7/27/2010

Table looks good but does not stand up to use. I have owned for less than 6 months and the top layer is all scratched. Normal kitchen use WITH place mats and all the polishing recommended by the store. I called customer service. They sent a rep who took pictures and said it should not scratch this way. However customer service says this is normal wear and tear and inevitable with copper and the table should be kept covered. However when I bought this I was told it was a very strong table that could be used for years and would stand up well. I have learned my lesson and will no longer shop at Arhaus. How Long is too long 7/17/2010

Is 15 weeks and counting how long you would wait for a couch? Never pay full upfront. We had a very specific sleeper sofa options w/slipcover and decided to give our business to a local store. After 15 weeks we have no couch, no explanations and no delivery date. I would rather they LIE to me though they have now offered us a loaner (meh) sofa until ours is built completed by tiny trolls in a remote part of underword. Go to Jonathan Adler for overpriced but timely delivery. more

UPDATE-Cool Product - Horrendous Service 6/10/2010

Update. I emailed Corporate and I got a call back in less than 48 hours. They looked into the situation and fixed it ALL! I'm now first on the delivery schedule for Saturday and I'm told I have a $200 gift card coming for my headaches. The person calling me (Steve Bailey) seemed open, honest, and truly committed to improving the company's policies/procedures. I am glad they admitted the issues and I believe they are doing everything they can to rectify them. I love their products and really hated the thought of not being able to shop there. Will definitely shop there again. 4 stars and not 5 simply because there were issues that had to be addressed. more

Arhaus Furniture is highly over-rated. Sectional is heavy and solid but cushion zippers keep braking and back cushions have no shape left. All this after one year. To get something fixed is nothing but a hassle. Three service visits before they agreed to replace the zipper in the first cushion. First they fixed it with a loop of thread, second they tried with a metal staple and finally decided to replace it. Now I am fighting over another one. The sales store will tell you anything to make the sale. Furniture is not the quality that the price represents. I have a leather ottoman that I am constantly fixing the legs on. It will not stay tight. I will never purchase or give Arhaus a good reference. more

Cool Product - Horrendous Service 5/28/2010

Good: Love the design of the furniture, loved the service up to the point of sale.. Bad: It is impossible to get the truth for delivery dates. I ordered furniture, gave them my cash, and that is when the deal went south. Multiple stories on delivery dates with the one common theme of a delay. Went to order online and got a committed date from the person on their chat that was 2 MONTHS earlier for a non-custom item. Store apologized and arranged for delivery next week. That was two days ago. Today I got the call saying not next week, but the month after next.. Improvements: Honesty. But I'll never see it. I'm done with this company. Sign on the dotted line, they take your money, and then they have you. Egregious terms and one missed commitment after another.. Other: Buyer beware. You'll think my comments are completely off base - until you sign. Then the other face of this company comes out. The face that takes your money, forces you to sign egregious cancellation terms, and then strings you along until delivery - when they are darn good and ready.. more

Arhaus should be renamed to Awful 4/8/2010

I am CEO of a company in NE Ohio I would NEVER treat my customer like this. I had better treatment from Value City. Companies make mistakes, but companies should not lie about the product. The product in the store is not what you get and the customer service is horrible to say the least. I have gift certificates that they gave me to "solve" the problem, I would rather have quality product and quality customer service. more

Sofa and cushions collapsed within 6 months 4/7/2010

I bought the Dune Taupe sofa on sale for $1800. The thing is awful - the springs collapsed in the middle and we've replaced the sofa cushions twice. They lose their shape within 2 months. I can't even sell the thing on craigslist now for $200 because when people go to try out the sofa they are amazed at how worn out it is - and it 1 year old! more

Bad: “warrantee”says All Arhaus merchandise is warranted against manufacturer's defects.Proof of purchase is required for exchanges or warranty service.Normal wear and tear or damage from customer use is not warranted. I took off the covers to my sofa to wash and the slipcovers or “dust covers” that house the cheap polyester fiberfill had completely disintegrated!! The Polly fill had clumped up and spilled out all over inside! They are made out of cheap webbing material my fingers just tore right through that ca. Improvements: That’s obvious isn’t it; the claim is superior quality & hand made, custom from the “best” around the world “no worry grantee”! The customer service “supervisor” is condescending, cocky and RUDE! They do NOT make well on there “warrantees” and the only thing you can do is take them to court! Good LUCK!. Other: I wanted to give them NO rating but this site made me give them one!. more

I was very disappointed in the return policy at Arhaus. First, I was not told that accessories are final sale. I actually chatted with the clerk who encouraged me to take two different items home to see which one looked better knowing that I would be returning one. Nor was I told that there was a 14 day return policy. Now, on the 20th day I can neither get my money back nor get a store credit. This is NO way to earn new customers. You've lost me! more

Console Still Note Delivered (4-1/2mos) 12/10/2009

My daughter ordered a console from the Polaris store in the beginning of August and was told that she would receive it at the beginning of October. Multiple times Arhaus has delayed its delivery. It is now the middle of December and still it has not been delivered. In the meantime, there has been a 30% off sale. Paying top dollar with no product to show for it is poor business practice! more
