Came out to repair our A/C. Diagnosed the problem in less than 30 seconds. Completed repair within 20 minutes. Total time about 45 minutes. However, charged $203 for a capacitor that sells for $32 online. Total charge: about $315, or over $600/hour. We know expertise and travel time have value, more than $600/hour. We don't think so. Perhaps this kind of practice is common in the heating A/C repair business. If so, it shouldn't be.
