We called ""Arc & USA Appliance Repair"" in Valencia and they responded on time but spent about 10 minutes looking at the refrigerator and checking to see if anything was loose. The serviceman did nothing else. Then the refrigerator started running again and we tried to get the serviceman, Tony, to explain what he had done. He didn't want to explain anything, was extremely arrogant and in broken English said ""that's my job to repair, not yours."" I observed him tap the control panel a few times and that's all. I asked him if something was loose and why tapping the panel caused the refrigerator to start running. He refused to explain anything and said ""I didn't make it, why don't you ask GE."" Then he said we need another ""mother board"" at a cost of about $500 because he said the refrigerator would stop running again. He charged $35 for a ""service call"" and walked out. DO NOT USE ""ARC & USA APPLIANCE REPAIR,"" AT LEAST IN VALENCIA, CA.
