have been dealing with Plano Appliance for 2 months now, on my leaking Samsung refrigerator. I called Plano Appliance to come out and take a look at it and had a window of 10am-12pm. At 12, I called and was informed that they were not coming at the appointment time and they rescheduled for later. When the repair specialist showed up, he said he would need to order a part. After a week, I called back and asked the status of the part, and was informed that it was in and scheduled the appointment for the repair (not sure why they didn't call when the part came in). I again had to call, because they were not on time for the appointment. Once the repair specialist showed up, he installed an inexpensive plastic tube and charged me $330. I repeatedly asked if this tube was treating the leak or the actual cause of the leak, not believing that this was correcting the root of the problem, and was assured it was fixed. The very next day, I had the same problem. I have been calling them twice a week for the last 2 months trying to get this issue resolved and have not been able to get any resolution. The part needed to fix my refrigerator was not ordered until 6 weeks after the initial issue and 2 weeks later it is still not in. They still have not ordered the part for the initial problem or investigated what is causing the leak. The repair specialist is completely unfamiliar with the Samsung brand and has outdated Samsung repair manuals. He actually resorted to to "googling" the issue to try and find out what the problem is. After 2 months with my fridge still leaking, I finally went into the store to request a refund. He was not in, but the receptionist put me on the phone with him. He refused to refund me my money and in a very unprofessional manner, yelled at me and hung up. I would strongly suggest using another appliance repair company, as Plano Appliance is extremely unreliable, they do jobs half-way and the customer service is atrocious.
