We happened upon this restaurant quite by accident in June of 2004. It was pretty on the outside, had free parking (a precious thing in Gatlinburg), good food, generous portions and reasonable prices. I was hesitant, at first, because there weren't many patrons waiting, but they were short-handed and weren't able to seat us right away. Apparently, this location had just opened and they weren't prepared for the overwhelming flood of hungry customers. It was well worth the wait. The difference was subtle, and I didn't realize it at first, but by the time we left, we were sold (it may be something in the Applewoods Apple Fritters with Homemade Apple Butter). Beware, there are many imitators in the area since the Applewood Farmhouse has become popular. Don't miss this great experience.
Pros: Free parking, Food, Service, Reasonably priced
Cons: Could get crowded., Fritters: addictive?
