Without a doubt, this is THE BEST PLACE TO BUY A USED CAR IN AUSTIN! I bought my Lexus from John Damron and it was the easiest purchase decision I have made. The staff is like a big family and they were all excited for me when I made my purchase. They are honest and their cars are very nice. I traded in my Passat for my Lexus GX470 and my payments went down WITH a 120,000 mile warranty. If you are considering a car purchase or upgrade you have to go work with these guys. This was a great experience. After searching online, and looking at dealerships as far as away as California, my wife and I found the perfect car at Apple Sport Imports. Our salesman, Lee, understood that we were coming from the Dallas area, which is quote a commitment for a test drive. Lee made sure that the car was ready and available after our 3 hour drive. We recently decided we needed a larger vehicle. Our previous SUV was purchased at Apple Sports Imports and Eric Long was our wonderful sales guy. We returned to Apple Sports, traded the previous SUV for a larger truck. We couldn't be happier with the vehicle, the fair price, and especially the service. The Review below is sooooo incredibly false!!! They have Carfax aka Autocheck on there website for EVERY Vehicle on the lot! They are far from shady and in fact incredibly honest and reliable! They get all of there cars checked out at the Reputable Christian Brothers Automotive and Hold incredibly High Standards! They are a NO HAGGLE dealership.... So, I don't know where the ""weasle"" comment makes any sense! Don't listen to Debbie Downers or Negative Nancy's ..... Apple Sport Imports is Awesome! Amazing Rates with Amazing Banks and Credit Unions and They even send you a Calender of you and your car when you buy from them! This is the way all car buying should be done in America; helpful but not pushy sales people, knowledgeable about their inventory and with excellant, low mileage vehicles to choose from and no haggle prices. \r \r This dealership goes a long way toward restoring my confidence in buying used cars through a dealership. They utilize the latest, most professional industry tools available to confirm the vehicles' mechanical history, and prep for the car before offering it to the public. \r \r When a problem with the manufactor installed CD developed a month after I acquired the car and everyone from the manufactor to local car stereo shops could only suggest replacing the new -to -me CD player, my sales person, Tonette Walker, set up an appointment with their in-house mechanic to have a try at fixing the problem inexpensively (successfully, I might add). Most dealerships would not have offered. She may be the best used car sales person in the city!\r \r I can definitely recommend this dealership for your consideration and plan on using them in the future should I need another used vehicle. I have been searching for a vehicle since Nov '09. I knew the type of vehicle I wanted and would find listings of it through Autotrader, Cars and Texasautodirect websites. After visiting numerous car dealers, both big and small...I realized they all had a common theme....SELL SELL SELL...no matter how sleezy these sales guys would be and no matter what my situation was, all they wanted to do was sell!! I happened to stumble upon the AppleSI website by mere accident, and to my suprise, I got a great welcome from the sales department. Tonette Walker emailed me the same day I emailed an inquiry, and immediately was attentive to my needs. In no way was she pushy or overwhelming. I ended up having to go out of town for that week and to my suprise she kept in touch with me daily as to how many times it was being test driven and of course if it was still for sale! When I got back in town, I set up an appt with Apple for Sat morning with hopes that the vehicle would still be there. LUCKILY it still was. As I left that Sat morning from San Antonio to Austin, Tonette continued to give me heads up if someone was test driving it or just looking at it. After the much anticipated hour and a half drive, I finally made it to the dealership where I was welcomed with bright smiles and super friendly people! The process did not take long at all and at no time did I feel pressured or sucked in to buying the vehicle! With their no haggle price and a GREAT price to that, I bought my car within the hour! I cant express how great these people are and how wonderful a place this is. Their cars are top of the line imports and they really do inspect every aspect of the vehicle, doing whatever necessary to make the vehicle in better shape than when they recieved it. I had a very bad experience buying a used car from one of those mom & pop shops, the whole ""buy here, pay here"" thing (hence my user name, I left an awful review for them, don't ever buy from Griffin Motors or Austin Auto Exchange). So I was apprehensive about going to any other place besides somewhere on the motor mile. Now I do have ""challenged credit"" so that also made me apprehensive about going to Apple SI, I thought I wouldn't ever be approved after looking at the type of cars they had here, very nice, clean, inexpensive with low miles. I decided to go ahead and put in a credit app just to try it out. This was done on a Tuesday. I got a call from Tony I think later that day or the next, he said he was going to submit all my info since he received my app and someone should be in touch with me (I had heard this a thousand times though from previous dealers) so I was like, well ok I guess I just wait now. I get a call from the finance company a little later and they just ask me few questions, ask me to fax over some info of mine and that's it. So probably 2 days pass by or so and Tony calls me asking when i could come by to check out the cars since he had received an answer from the finance company that everything looked great. I work and live quite a distance from RR620 so I told them I would be down there on Saturday. Tony said that was fine and that he had a car I was approved for already. Although the car didn't fit my family needs exactly but hey, I was approved for a car!!! So by this I would build up my credit again which was fine with me. I did take my my husband's dad to check it out and there were a few things to get fixed on the car which Tony gladly stated and wrote down on an invoice it would be taken into their auto shop they use down the street by Monday. They also gave me loaner car!! I found this all amazing, maybe I didn't seem happy there but I was seriously astounded by how nice everyone was and how everyone was treated equally as a customer! They gave me 3 mos. warranty and a 1 year, 24 hr. road side assistance, they even have free car washes every Saturdays for their customers. I have never met a salesperson so helpful and nice and not pressuring us to buy into something we didn't like. Like I said, although the car we purchased didn't suit our needs as a family, the car was VERY nice and would do for the time being. I definitely recommend going here to purchase your car. Once I'm doing paying off this car, I WILL be going back to buy another one. Pros: Low priced, low mile, very nice cars Cons: Kind of far from San Marcos & South Austin (but worth it) more

Have bought 2 vehicles from Apple and will buy again in the future. Both times the staff was easy to deal with and they beat others we looked at on financing and interest rates. Needed to trade a 2 door for a 4 door this time around and they found me the exact car I wanted. I got it for less than Edmunds, KBB and NADA list. Liked the bottom line pricing as it was even less than I expected to pay. Pros: great selection, nice people Cons: kind of far to drive from South Austin area (but worth it) more

No pressure, great selection, VERY clean cars. My mechanic was impressed with the condition the truck (I eventually purchased) was in when I brought it to him for a pre-purchase inspection. My sales guy was Dave Jimenez. He knew I was on the fence about possibly buying a much more expensive sports car (I was pre-approved for it, even) but didn't push me into it. In fact, he agreed with me that a mid-size truck would be more practical in fitting my needs. This truck was four years old but looked brand new in every way. Not sure how they did it, but I was amazed. \r Highly recommended. It certainly looks like they're very picky about what cars they sell, in that they all seemed to be newer, low-mileage cars in excellent shape. Pros: Great selection, no pressure, very reponsive. They treated us with respect and went out of their way to get us just what we were asking for. On top of that they gave us more then anyone else wanted to for our trade in!
