This was the first stop when looking for bridal gowns...Initially the owner was very nice and friendly to my mother & mother in law. She helped me try on as many gowns as I wanted because I didn't know what style I liked. So I purchased the wedding dress of my dreams, It came 2 months before I expected and Rosie (The owner) said that I could keep the dress in the shop until I was ready. Note...Dress needs to be paid in full upon arrival. Since my wedding date is November 12, 2010 I thanked her for allowing me to hold the dress until my final fittings. more

Holy cow. This place is a JOKE! I called to ask if they had the Maggie Sottero Brielle dress and the woman (or man ... I couldn't tell!) said ""can you call me back in ten minutes?"" Who does that? I wanted to say, how about you take my number, look for it, and then call ME back? Instead, I called back and the person informed me that they did in fact have the dress. When I asked the person another question, they rudely responded, so I just said okay, thanks and hungup. No less than one minute later, the person called me back (must have caller ID), and said ""Hi Kari, did you just call about a dress?"" I said yes, and he/she responded back and said, ""well just so you know, we have a try-on fee. If you decided to buy a dress from us, that fee goes toward the dress."" I said, ""what? how much is that?!"" He/she responded, ""$100."" Forget that, I said, and hung up. Now I've heard of bridal shops ""renting"" dresses from the vendor so that you can try it on, which of course I would expect a fee, but CHARGING ME TO COME IN AND TRY ON A DRESS? That is absurd! The gown is at Sisters in Whitewater. I'll go there instead! My God! Pros: They had the dress I wanted Cons: They wouldn't let me try it on UNLESS I PAID THEM ONE HUNDRED BUCKS!!! Rude customer service, too. more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! Owner is very rude, hung up on me when I was trying to get information on my bridesmaid dresses. Order has taken over 4 months, still don't have the dresses. Girls ordered same dress in Green Bay and came in in 2 months, This place is terrible, poor costumer service. Should not be a business, cuz they can't run it. more

I purchased my bridal gown and plenty of formal gowns from this store. I was very pleased with the service and the expert advice I recieved from the owner, Rosie. She looked at me and pulled out the dress she thought I would like. The one she chose is the one I wore. Reading the other reviews, I did not have a problem understanding her at all. Goes to show you that you must experience for yourself. Plus, the price she gave me was the best in Wisconsin. It was small and comfortable. It felt really cozy! Just called Apollo Bridal to ask if they carried a specific Maggie Sottero dress at 4:40pm. Ther person on the phone replied ""We are closing, please call tomorrow."" Are you kidding me? more

Somewhat unorganized, but provided good customer service. Reasonable prices for bridesmaids dresses. Alterations provided in-store. Try it and see for yourself. It took over 4 months for the dresses to come in. They came in only weeks before the wedding. Horrible customer service. Could never get a straight answer. Poor communication. English is 2nd language. Absolutely do not buy from here! more
