I was lucky enough to find Zina 16 years ago when I lived in NYC and, although I moved to Westchester NY 2 years ago, I've been seeing her monthly ever since. There's just no one like her. I'd been so many spas and aestheticians before I met her, and it never failed that my overly dry, thin and sensitive skin would break out a few days later, then end up even worse than it was before. Zina immediately alleviated my skin problems and since has taken years off my face. I get so many compliments on my clear even skin tone and I owe it ALL to Zina and her Oxygen and Placenta treatments. She has extraordinary passion for her work and a sort of 6th sense for the root causes of skin problems. In many cases I would recommend someone visit Zina before seeing a dermatologist. She handles each person's skin differently and realizes, unlike so many facialists in the business, that there's no one way to treat women's delicate complexions. Not to mention, she's a lovely person with integrity and respect for her clients. My husband was recently complaining of dry skin and dark circles around his eyes so, although she doesn't usually take male clients, Zina agreed to help him. He has no more dark circles and his skin is radiant (in a masculine way of course). I don't like to make the trip into the city much anymore, but I will happily drive to see Zina as often as necessary. more

Zina is a magician! After years living with rosacea and trying several unsuccessful treatments recommended by dermatologists, I decided to try Zina's oxygen facial. My skin has never looked better after her treatment, and I no longer use prescription medication to treat my rosacea. Zina is truly a professional... Zina is honest and her facials are effective. She won't sell you something you don't need, is honest in telling you what is wrong with your skin, and what results to reasonably expect and in how long. After less than two months, my skin is practically glowing (my friend even said so to me yesterday!), my skin is much softer, more hydrated and she has turned me on to much more natural products that are much better for my skin than the awful chemicals I was using before.\r \r I am getting married in less than 4 months and I am confident that Zina will have my skin looking its best on my big day.\r \r Thank you Zina!! more

I have never written a review for a service provider before now. As this website directed me to Aphrodite Skincare I feel I should write about my experience in the hope that others will find it beneficial. \r \r As a self confessed beauty junkie I am always on the lookout for new products and treatments. Although I try to be as gentle as possible with my skin, due to a combination of genetics and environmental factors I have numerous skincare issues. These range from sensitivity, rosecea, acne, dryness and eczema. While on holidays in New York some weeks ago I decided to book an appointment for a facial with Zina at Aphrodite Skincare. Thanks to the reviews I had read previously I was so excited and I wasn?t disappointed.\r \r Zina is truly gifted. Within five seconds of meeting her I trusted her judgement entirely. My mother is a beautician and absolutely adores Zina. She went back to the UK after many years of living in NYC; so now I needed someone to take care of my sensitive skin. I immediately thought of Zina. My mother had been having facials from her for years and would frequently tell me how happy she was to have finally "...found someone who knows what they're doing." So I went. I had a hydrodermie facial. Zina hardly left me for a moment. The face and neck massage had me in heaven. Even after she had applied the face mask she kept with me massaging my arms and hands. I felt so pampered... my skin glowed... my muscles relaxed. I can't wait to go back. Thank you so much Zina! She diagnoses skin issues, and tailors facials to one's specific needs. No more dryness, redness, rosacia, break-outs.... my skin is significantly smoother, healthier, more radiant. Best facials in New York!!! Amazing results every time!!! 8/5/2010

I consider myself very fortunate to find this place after so many years and so much money spent at the numerous Manhattan spas! I have been going here for one year and a half. Now my skin looks as it never did in my life, with even tone and healthy texture. I always had very dry ultra-sensitive skin very prone to breakouts. When I saw Zina for the first time she promised to heal my skin, and she actually did and in just couple of months. After three facials friend of mine asked what I have been doing to my skin! more

I have jumped around from spa to spa since I was 16. I could never find a place where I really saw results in my skin. From the very first facial I had with zina, that same week I saw results right from the begining. It has been 8 months since I have been using Zina and my skin has never in my life looked the way it looks now. I recently got married and Zina recommend the oxygen treatment to me a few months before. (It erases fine lines and gives the skin a healthy glow) IT IS AMAZING!!! Also she has a body treatment that I lost 7 pounds and 2 jean sizes from before the wedding. The prices are amazing, the spa is spotless, and zina is just the most incredible person ever!!!
