Definitely very blend food. My recommendation is that they need to get a real cook/chef. Prices are to expensive for what you get and the lunch menu is too simple.

Best Portions in town 1/27/2010

I come into this place all the time I have never had anything on the menue that I disliked portions are huge and price is more than reasonable compared to most for the great quality of food that you get from Antonio's. The hostesses are prompt and food is always fresh. I recomend the Red Snapper what a great dish with that great sauce and the tender scallops that come along with it. Pros: Service is great Cons: N/A more

Fresh!!!! Fresh Mexican Food!!! 1/26/2008

Everything is made when you order it- very fresh ingredients- wonderful quesadillas, great fajtas- sauces are really good- If you crave mexican food that you can taste and is not drowned in sauces, this is the place- good service- family place-- I recommend it highly- Pros: fresh food Cons: ambiance could be livelier more

Not authentic enough. 7/13/2006

I lived in Mexico City all my life and know what mexican food is like. Have found two places were they have authentic mexican food in Houston, and Antonio's is not one of them. The red sauce tasted like ketchup with bell peppers and cumin. Contrary to popular belief, in Mexico, we rarely use bell peppers and cumin in our food.\r It is average tex-mex, definitely not good mexican restaurant.\r \r The service was not very good either. Pros: Affordable Cons: Not authentic mexican food. more
