Dont waste your time 8/23/2007

I agree with the other review on the owners change to frequently so you might be surprised. The last time I went there I was so disappointed - I used to love the food and it was horrible they were out of half the menu, and the quality was awful. I had made a reservation for a party of 8 and they were not set up for us and had us move our own tables the wait staff was inexperienced and unprofessional. I went from being a big fan of the antlers inn to probably never going there again. I also wrote in my first complaint letter ever to a company and received no reply back from management. Pros: It does have a rustic feel to it Cons: Foods awful, service awful- would have been happier at McDonald's more

Beautiful interior 9/28/2006

Service is nice, food is good but not spectacular. For the same price of the meal there ( for two we paid nearly 70.00- only 2 beers with meal for two) you can go to the Raven's Nest and have FANTASTIC service, and a meal cooked to perfection. Pros: nice place to see Cons: super small portions, way overpriced more

11/26/07 Update: Finn McCool's Moves In 3/9/2005

Well, Antlers has changed hands yet again, but the new occupant, Finn McCool's, may breathe some life into this place once again. My husband and I went in over the weekend. The place was oddly furnished: there was a lot of floor space open with the few tables jammed up against the walls. Maybe they have dancing...don't know. But the charm is that it's now an Irish pub 'n grub joint. Beer on tap included Guiness, Newcastle, Killian's, Harp, and several others. The smell in the pub was wonderful, someone was cooking up something declicious. I didn't realize food was served until I saw a server pick up a menu and bring it to someone. I quickly browsed through it and made up my mind that I want to eat a meal here next time we come up. They had a variety of appetizers, sandwiches, soups and some entrees. I was attrached by the Irish Guiness Stew and will give that a try next time. I hope this place gets some business; Antler's needs some perking up!\r \r Original 2005 Review\r Antlers changes owners every few years so it's hard to give a consistent rating or know what to expect next time you go. The place is fun; decorated like an old lodge with a high peaked ceiling. Recent menu offerings are good - lots of various meat dishes and even some samplers where you have a little of everything. Salads are good; desserts are so-so. Pros: Trying for a fresh start Cons: Not yet proven more
