the perfect dress 7/23/2010

it took me almost a yr to find my sweet 16 dress! i was so stressed out thinkin what was the perfect dress. as soon as i walked in annabellas the first dress i tried on was the one. i felt like i was a princess i cant wait to wear my beautiful dress this store is one of a kind! more

Wonderful! 6/25/2010

I bought my mother of the bride dress here and had fantastic service from start to finish. They have very different designs that you won't find in many other places. Their service was always friendly, even when I just popped in without an appointment to browse around. I didn't need any alterations because Rosa measured me perfectly. What a sweetheart! Had fun shopping at Annabella's for prom and grad. dresses!!! The store was busy on a Saturday afternoon; but the staff always checked on us, and Rosa was super! Fun/feminine atmosphere (upbeat music, Mom sat and sipped expresso while I tried on dresses). Definitely better than the other stores nearby on Harlem Avenue. I felt special!!! more

The WORST customer service 3/12/2010

Have you ever been in a bussines where the owner is the one who is responsible for the bad customer service? I have been. Annabella her self is the responsible for no having bussines at all because of her bad customer service, her rudeness and fakenes, are the things are keeping her for 25 years in this tiny store!!! more

Stressed and Manipulated 3/1/2010

When shopping for my duaghters prom dresses I would lilke to feel unstressed and not pressured. I felt like that from the minute I walked in. They trick you into thinking that you need to purchase the dress because someone else is looking into purchasing the dress and make the decision quick or it will be gone. They stress that they want to make sure that your dress will only be sold to you and not to anyone else at the school. Well, wake up ladies the dress can be ordered anywhere on line another store etc. When I go to shop for a special event like this one I want to feel unpressured and manipulated. Wake Annabella your not that special. The dresses you carry are not one of kind they are all over the internet. talk about over priced all the dress in the shop are at least $50 to $100 dollars more expensive. more

My Suit for my Daughter's Church 6/9/2009

Good: Annabella & her Daughter attended to me immediately when I came in her boutique looking for something to wear to my Daughter's Wedding Mass. I was frantic because I hated what I purchased elsewhere. Thankgod I went there I stopped, the first suit I tried on was the one, and Annabella had only 1 week to get the suit in. Annabella made feel that I had nothing to worry about, including alterations that she made sure the suit would fit me perfect. I also purchased the shoes & handbag which matched unbelievable. Bad: Not one complaint.. Improvements: Nothing, Annabella's has Beautiful Trendy clothes. Something for everyone from Prom , Weddings, to a Couture line. You will never see yourself coming and going anywhere here.. Other: Not only is Annabella a business women but she is also a Mother. I Love this place! 5/23/2009

Good: After being in many boutiques looking for prom dresses, I arrived at Annabelas. the customer service was GREAT! and on top of that I found the perfect prom dress in less than 10 minutes. I referred four of my friends the next day and all of us will look amazing on prom. The prices are a bit high but I am very pleased and proud to say that my prom dress came from Annabellas!. more

Annabellas = Excellence 5/18/2009

So my mom and I have been looking for a wedding dress for almost 6 months around Milwaukee and Wisconsin area. We came down to Chicago for the weekend and we found this awesome boutique called Annabellas we were greeted like family once we stepped foot into the store. The atmosphere was amazing, Rosa who is the owners daughter treated us with espresso and Italian desserts with in the first 10 min. The dresses are so beautiful that we even ended up picking out all of our bridesmaids dresses there as well. The prices are little high but we had all the dresses fitted at the store to the tea. I ended up fining the most perfect dress for me within one hour of being at the store and the made my experience memorable more

My daughter has purchased her prom dress at Annabella's the last 2 years. Yes. They are busy but that's because they are so good!! They are honest and help you pick out what works best for you. They even remembered us this year and gave us hugs. That's rare!!!!.. and they're kind, patient and caring...Also they will alter for when you need the dress. You get what you pay for. I like a place where you can walk in and they take good care of you. If that's what you like too then make sure to visit Ananabella's. more

Honestly?! 4/11/2009

I've read extreme view points on the boutique, and so I want to express more of a neutral point of view to Annabella's. The service is great; Annabella and her daughters make you feel right at home. They take the time to help you find a dress that fits YOUR style and even give you their honest opinion on what they believe looks better. The selection is wonderful! [beautiful dresses] I recently bought my prom dress there. However, their prices are quite, [just a tad ;)] high. The average dress price is 400 dollars. Had it not been for the price, I'd say this boutique deserves a 5 out 5. If you're willing to pay for what you really like, then I completely recommend you to go there! more

Go Somewhere Else! 4/4/2009

I was excited to go to annabellas boutique and was very diasappointed!! The owner practically refused to show me any dresses, was extremely rude, and lacked customer service. I'm sorry when a customer/client comes in and is abou to make a $800 purchase they should be treated with a little respect, after all im at an "exclusive" boutique, not WALMART! Well I made my way somewhere else and made a purchase and was treated they way I expect to be treated!! more

This place has it All. Rosa was so nice in helping my girlfriends find the right bridesmaids dresses. The prices were right, they fitted us all right to the tea. My mom was so pleases with the service. What other bridal shops serve you with respect. They offered us wine,espresso,cookies, and treated us like we where family. more

Worst Service Ever!!!! I visited Annabella's Fashion Boutique twice and both times were a waste of a one hour drive. The first time I walked in and began to look for dresses I noticed the rudeness of the owners both mother and daughter.. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and said it was because they were busy... I didn't find what I was looking for and the owner stated that new dresses had arrived and will be displayed in a few days and to come back.... My second trip was horrible. I walk in and began to look around and the mother of the owner comes out and practically kicks me out. Heeelloooo I'm about to spend close to $1,000.00 on my gown!!! I dont need to be treated disrespectfully to spend my money! I told her I like a gown in the window.. and before I finished my sentence she said "NO, we don't have your size" I'm not a size 14!! Everything I wanted she convinced me not to purchase! Who Does THAT?! Annabella's Fashion has the worst service!! I think its a requirement to work there. more

Good: I LOVE IT THERE! Annabella and her two lovely daughters treat you like you were apart of their family. They're straight foward with you and tell you if a dress looks good or not- honesty is key even if it hurts. They have GORGEOUS dresess for prom, quiences, and weddings; I'm so going there for my wedding! Eventhough the prices are high they give you time to pay it off. Thanks to Annabella's I'm goin to look HOT for my prom! =]. more

Let me just start off by saying wow! By far the best bridal boutique in the Chicago and if not one of the best in the country. I usually don't write reviews on places, but when i came to Annabellas it felt like they really cared about me needs for my wedding. Not only are there dresses original they have class on how they treat the everyday consumer. The place is gorgeous and the Annabella and her daughter know what there talking about when it comes to whats in style. You pay for what you get and I really enjoys doing business there. Everyone loved my dress on my wedding and I will be sending more people to Annabellas more

FRAUD!!!! 3/14/2009

all i hve to say is that annabellas boutiqe is a big FAUD she acts as if she is the designer, i was going to purchase a 400 dollar dress with tax and alternations it came out to 525$ so we gave a 230$ deposit asi browse the internet i went to look at the dress that we ordered it so happened to be the same dres was realy 200$ the next day i called and see if they can work something out nothing she said that, that was impossible that her dresses are exclusive... till this day annabella did not give me back my money and did not work somthing out with me.. but thats okay annebella will soon have a court day with me and some fellow friends that expierced the same situation.. WHATEVER YU DO DONT SHOP AT ANNABELLA'S.. more

I went to Annabella to purchase a jovani dress I liked, She asked 500 plus tax and alternation. So I went to a different Boutique which will be nameless, she charged me 330 with tax and alternation. Annabella was ripping me off big time more

This store has nice dresses but their prices are not right.We did buy many dresses from there for very high prices $700.00 and over because they claim they were JOVANI but we found out later the same dresses were priced a lot cheaper in other boutiques.Last week we were trying to buy a dress from there and the Greek lady was asking $500.00 for the dress we liked plus taxes and alteration the dress almost would cost $750.00.SO we changed our minds and we went to another boutique and we found the same dress and we bought it for $300.00 tax included and no need for alteration and has JOVANI tag unlike ANNABELLA'S FASHION dress which did not have JOVANI tag on it.I don't recommend this store to any one because of deceiving prices. more
