the food there tastes great and the people there are very nice; however, while visiting a friend that worked in the pastry department i noticed a few things that were pretty nasty...

i love to have breakfast with my girlfriend in the morning. the crew pleased you as far as anyone wish love the place quiet, clean, loveto eat outside more

Disgusting Employee 5/11/2006

I went there to day while I was out and we ordered a cup of coffee only. We have gone to this place several times and always notice that the floors were dirty and the tables inside were always full of crumbs and stuff. THe prices are ok but I don't know anyone who would pay $1 for 1 yes 1 croquette. The display cases are not very "interesting" they don't have them displayed nicely although the food seems to be well loved. The coffee there is really good as well. The cashier was a very large man who wore a button down shirt but it was open and it was rather disgusting. I recommend the food there but not much else. more

Ankarr European Pastry Shop 9/13/2005

This place is pretty good. The pastry there are pretty good. The atmosphere was pretty good. All in all, I would have to say it's pretty good. They sell a lot of good pastries. I am not really sure if they are fresh though. But I guess they are. Maybe half fresh and half not. I'm not even too sure myself. It's not a super great place but it's different though. In a good way. Overall, good. more

I visisted Ankarr European Pastry Shop, because I adore pastries, they are so tasty and fulfilling. European pastries are unique and hard to find a place that specializes in making them, but this place is wonderful. not only do they offer a great amount of delicious and delectable unique patries, they are also fresh and unique in every way. I cannot find another place that compares tto this one, and how great it is. The customer service offered was simple and straight to the point. They helped me quickly and quickly I got my pastries, paid for them and then left, very quick process. The prices were a bit high for each pastry more
