Great care, but Nina's attitude needs a complete overhaul. 6/21/2008

I feel that my pets were treated very well by the staff. The tech was sweet and professional, and the doctor went out of her way to make sure that my pets received the best care possible. Nevertheless, an ATA employee named Nina ruined the whole experience. She is the b!tchiest, most condescending, RUDE person I have ever dealt with in person or over the phone. I cannot believe that ATA has not received sufficient complaints about this employee to have her fired. I have even called ATA with simple questions a couple of times, and I was absolutely dumbfounded by her aggressive, mean, nasty, b!tchy attitude and smart remarks. I was even rendered speechless for about 5 seconds during one phone call which lasted no more than 2 minutes (if that long). When I got over the shock of her rudeness, I said to her, "You seem angry or something. Why?" She responded, "It's just that I'm trying to do someting here, and you're distracting me!" My next thought was that she must be on drugs; and if she's not, she needs to go to a psychiatrist and obtain some ASAP. My pet is due for another shot, and I've actually been putting it off for a few days, just because I'm worried that Nina will be there and I might snap on her. more

Took great care of my kitty 11/28/2005

We adopted a kitty from a shelter when she was only 5 weeks old. Kitty came with a gift card from a neuter at the Animal Trustees. I had no problems getting her appointment scheduled. When it was time to bring her in, the place was clean and the staff was friendly. They encouraged me to interact with the kitty, which I appreciated. I left her there and picked her up later that evening & our kitty was in fantastic shape. This place is top notch in my book! And even if we wouldn't have had a gift certificate for her, they are EXTREMELY affordable! more

Afforable and Good 9/14/2005

The Animal Trustees of Austin operate a wellness clinic and one for getting your pet spayed or neutered. While they don't deal with "sick" pets, they do offer a host of services like routine and preventitive care, including vaccinations. The staff is friendly and the vet and vet assistants I dealt with seemed very knowledgeable and had good recommendations. The wait can be long though, so call ahead to find out when they're least busy times are. They accept walk-ins, and I don't think they even take appointments. Still, it's worth it for the quality and service they provide. more

Wonderful Vet 7/31/2005

This animal clinic is the best. They took my cat in right away when he was sick eventhough they were busy. Turns out he would have died had we waited any longer for treatment. They fixed the problem and my cat is as good as new. I trust them to take care of any future pets I might have. more
