SCAM ARTIST!!! Took my pit-mix dog there because her regular vet couldnt get her in on 1/19/2012 She had a bad limp and she was not eating.. Had x-rays done and Dr. Singh said she had partial torn ACL and most likely needed a $1,100 surgury..Decided to take her to her regular vet and get a second opionion and Dr.Singh started back peddling on his story and said she only had a sprain and should be better in 7-10 days.. I also had to pay a $30 deposit for the x-rays to take them to our vet..But his new story was totally different story from what is written in the medical file. Our regular vet said NO ACL tear! Went to take back the x-rays and get our deposit back and Dr.Singh said ""You must have misunderstood me""... Total SCAM ARTIST!!\r more

Not happy at all with what happened and now Dr. Singh is spending lies about me!! I took my dog in for a emerg. after she was seen in the office that same day. Instead of doing a c-section right there he send me home with poticon and said we would see if she could have the rest on her own! If she was in distress like he said when she came in the office that day he would of did the c-section then. Yes I did stop payment on the check. I also paid him over $600.00 in cash that same day.. Now this. Whatever~ more

FYI\r I HAPPEN TO BE AN EMPLOYEE AT AMCC AND DR SINGH IS THE MOST CARING, EDUCATED VETERINARIAN I HAVE TAKEN MY FAMILY OF PETS, 6 DOGS AND 2 CATS TO BE SEEN. HE HAS COMPASSION FOR ALL ANIMALS AND GIVES THEM THE BEST POSSIBLE CARE. I HAVE HAD THE UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE HIM PERFORM SURGERIES AND CARE FOR EACH ANIMAL. HE HAS COMPASSION FOR EVERY PET THAT COMES IN, AND TREATS EACH PET AS A VALUABLE GIFT FOR EVERY PET OWNER. PRICES AT THE CLINIC ARE FAR BELOW THE EXPERTISE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF DR SINGH. CHECK PRICES IN THE AREA AND I KNOW YOU WILL FIND THIS TO BE TRUE. YOU WILL PAY A LOT MORE FOR TREATMENT THAT DOESN'T COMPARE TO THIS CLINIC. I WENT TO ANOTHER VET IN THE AREA PAYING MUCH MORE WITH UNSATISFACTORY CARE FOR MY BEST LITTLE & BIG FAMILY BEFORE I WAS AWARE OF DR SINGH. I take both of my dog's to Dr. Singh and I love it there! The doctor, as well as the staff are very caring and nurturing to my pets, and treat them like they are one of they're own. They understand that my dogs are family to me, and treat them appropriately. Though they are not the cheapest around, I firmly beleive that you get what you pay for! more

I just read the poor review about Animal Medical Center and I TOTALLY disagree. First, Dr. Singh is not cheap. That is the truth. He is however, a very nice, kind man with a huge heart for all animals. FOR THE RECORD: I am not an employee at the center. I am a patient's mother from Boardman who works in the pet industry and knows a lot about QUALITY vets. I spend a great deal of money with Singh because I am willing to pay top dollar for my animals medical care. The last review should have gone to her "other" cheap vet to have the dog serviced. It's one thing to take your animal to the vet and have him treat the animal wrong, THAT IS TERRIBLE. Being overcharged, that is the customers fault. Does not take away from the service at hand. Singh is a WONDERFUL vet. I HIGHLY recommend him to pet parents who will pay for good service. If it weren't for Singh, my Drako would have been put down by my previous vet. Singh saved his life. Absolutely the WORST service I have EVER had from a vet, or any business for that matter! COMPLETE CON ARTIST! I was paying for my dog's neuter through the Friends of Animals low cost neuter, which made the charge $75, then there was the $68 for all the shots, worming, and heartworm test. I declined the pain injection and antibiotics because it was financially not in the books to do them. The bill should have been $143. When I got there I was greeted to a bill for $241!!! HUGE difference! If I knew that was coming I would have taken him to my normal vet and paid the same price there. I made them break down the bill for me. Even though I said NO to the shots and antibiotics and the tech wrote it on the papers, they gave them to my dog anyway and charged me for it, as well as changed the price of the neuter itself from $75 to $110. I was in total shock! They had also added on $18 for an exam that would not have been an issue if I had known it was going to be there. All in all, they changed the price of the neuter, took off the cost of the injection, took my money, and then would not let me have my dog back until they put the charge back on for the injection and made me pay TWICE! What should have been $143 cost me $200 and I personally watched the vet stick the money right in his pocket rather than in any drawer or register. Then they had the nerve to ask me what day was good for me to come back for his other shots! NOT A CHANCE! He will be going to a vet who loves dogs, not cash! I have never been so mad in all my life! I tried to do something good by being a responsible pet owner and I got completely ripped off for it! TOTAL SCAM ARTIST! I truly regret even getting involved with Friends of Animals now because of this sham of a vet, which is a total shame because that is an amazing program.
