We have gone to Angelo's for years and have always been pleased with the food and the service, (though it does seem to be a little overpriced). Regardless, when someone wanted some good "American" Italian food, and though a little kitschy, Angelo's was the place to go. I've always appreciated the family atmosphere and that it is a family run, and served, restaurant.
However, we will not return.
Four of us joined five other friends for a holiday dinner celebration yesterday evening and all seemed to be going well, until the food arrived.
The very frazzled server brought out 8 dinners.
As there were 9 of us we waited for the final plate of food but it didn't show up.
We finally got the attention of the (very frazzled) server and she said it was coming.
So everyone began eating rather than let their dishes get cold. I, however, sitting next to my foodless friend, opted to wait until his dish arrived.
