Johnny 22 Wondering how I would find the public record on the child rape. Was he actually arrested? His arrogance makes me believe this info is true but would like some concrete evidence that could help with a situation. Thanks more

Just had a wonderful evening at 6/28/2012

Just had a wonderful evening at Angelina's. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. It was such a cozy dinner and by far the best part of the evening was the dessert! Our waiter, Kyle, makes the desserts there, well at least the red velvet cheesecake!! It was to die for!! I would recommend just going there for that if nothing else!! Better than any cheesecake I have ever had and he is just a kid maybe 18 years old!! My husband and I are still talking about how good that cake was!! The staff was incredible; everyone from the bar tender, Mike, the busser, Tyler and our waiter Kyle were very good! It was not very busy but we were there after 8 pm. more

Too Creepy 3/25/2012

The food is ok. But the worst part about this place is the owner. He is a guido wanna be who constantly belittles his employees in front of the customers. It makes you feel very uncomfortable and I feel bad for them. Then he insists on sitting at the table with you, hits on you and actually will eat some of your food and is too cheap to even comp an appetizer or drink or anything. I felt very creeped out during my visit and the food is not worth putting up with him. I will definitely not be back. more

Good Meal Here Tonight 11/25/2011

Tonight we had the large NY Style two topping pizza, Chicken Parmesan, Spinach Ravioli, and Fettucini Alfredo with Chicken (Special order). The food was really good. Our waiter was really good too. My only ""issue"" is that the Calamari Appetizer was a little pricey (but I admit that it could be the going rate now and I am a bit behind the times!) We were customers at the Brandon location and now trying this new one is Valrico. Both locations were very nice and we'll continue to come back and and to recommend them to friends. more

Horrible 10/16/2011

We came with a table of 8. To make a long story short, the owner ended up telling a member of our party to ""go F--- yourself"" because of an issue with one of the dishes. The cops ended up coming. It was an interesting night. Kitchen staff uses same restroom as guests and kitchen staff did not was his hands. Literally the worst restaurant experience of my life. more

Grand Opening Soon Closing 7/29/2011

Had there pizza several times at old location not bad and fair priced...However sit down at new location was one of the worst Italian meal ever. Way overpriced, had the veal definately not fresh, wife had cheese tortellini tasted store bought, bread was stale with no volume. Daughter had macaroni cheese tasted like a boxed no name brand, son had kids cheese pizza was not bad but shouldn't be for a $7.00 nine inch pizza. Asked why they did no have large pizzas on the menu, stated owner did not want people taking up a 4 top for a pizza, you were forced to buy there 9 in specialty pizzas. Seen a large pizza coming out to go and asked if there was a seperate menu for to go pizzas, yes but we are out of menu's to go...what just opened ...do they not print by the box(es)...crazy tactics. Finally bill came $50.00 (not inc. tip) for two adult and two kids meals with water. Asked if they had military discount...owner stated (to waitress not us) No discounts at this time...ugh does he not know a majority of south Valrico is military....instead of thanking us for our service the waitress gave us a coupon flyer from the owner,,,spend a $100.00 get 10% off...You can run your business any way you like after all it is the land of the free...You are Welcome. The only good point was the staff and our waitress...it is not there fault. Formaggios has no worries about this one, definately not fine Italian dining. more

Never again! 4/2/2010

I can't understand why anyone would go to this place.\r The service was awful. No one seemed to care about whether you were there or not. They did not check on our table through out dinner so my usband had to track someone down just to get a refill of water.\r The manager was a jerk, never stopped by to check on our dinner experience. He even parks his big car at the entrance when there is not a lot of parking to begin with. Very arrogant!!\r My son (18) went there with his girlfriend (very petite girl) and they charged $7 to share a plate! Even Carraba's does not do that! \r Very disappointed\r Cons: owner/manager, food, service more

THE WORSE LASAGNA WE HAVE EVER HAD! 3/14/2010

First of all, I have dined at great Itailan Restaurants in my life and some not so great. This place however, was the worse. A friend had a birthday dinner there in the back room, NO AC, the waitress only came to our table once, the bread was not fresh and my daughter and I ordered lasagna, It taste like what I could only describe as what Alpo dog food must taste like. If it wasn't for being there with friends and it being a bd celebration I would have sent it back. The man that took our order looked like something out of a mofia movie. He had these gaudy rings on almost every finger. And on top of the terrible food we were charged an outragious tip fee for someone who only brought us coke once. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND I WOULDN'T TELL MY WORSE ENEMY TO EAT THERE. more

Worst dining experience EVER! 3/13/2010

I have never been to an establishment ran as poorly as Angelina's in Brandon Florida! The service was non-existent, the owner was annoyingly narcissistic, and the food was over priced and pedestrian at best. I've honestly had better Italian food in the form of a microwave meal purchased at Publix. If someone gave me an option to be waterboarded for 30 minutes or live through another experience at Angelina's, I would choose waterboarding hands down. At least with waterboarding they'll acknowledge your existence, you won't have to pay to get tortured, and it might even taste good. I don't usually write reviews but this time I felt like it was my duty to humanity. Avoid this place at all costs! Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more

Overpriced, medicore food, AWFUL service 3/13/2010

Horrible service from no waitress the entire time (the busboy helped us and we had to ask the owner for a check and take our order and the owner was awful in about every way, very put off). The food was WAY Overpriced for border line nasty food. Drive 10 more minutes to Ybor to Laughing Cat! Pros: kids cheese pizza Cons: everything else more

Do not eat in this place 1/31/2010

The owner is Anthony Cimino and he is a child molester and child rapist.\r \r \r He molested and raped a little girl several times and got away with it.\r \r He did this to more then one little girl. \r \r He left New York because of what he's done.\r \r Anybody that eats in his restaurant is a supporter of child molesters.\r \r He is a fat pig wannabe gangster with no morals.\r \r No not support him by eating in his restaurant.\r \r Thank you\r Cons: child molester more

Excellent chicken fettucini 1/28/2010

My girl and I swung by and had a wonderful plate of fettucini with excellent salads, and numerous drinks. What a night, it was a nice dark romantic setting, and the waitresses were both very nice and attentive. Prices were a little steep but well worth it. We were all eating off each others plates and were never charged a split fee. So be careful, dont use the word Split anywhere you go because to a lot of restaurants it means 7 dollars. Just eat off each others plates, ok. Nice place, I have been there 3 times now, always delish. Pros: Huge elongated plates with generous portions Cons: Split charges are an insult that should be outlawed more

ANYBODY WHO HAS ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE HAS GOT TO BE HIS COMPETITION OR SOMETHING TO THAT NATURE. Pros: BY FAR THE BEST SERVICE AND QUALITY OF FOOD IN TOWN Cons: NO COMPLAINTS more

LOVE this place 7/17/2009

I love this place. We dine here frequently and by chance did I stumble upon this website. Anyone who doesn't like the food here is crazy. Being Italian I know food and this is delicious!!!! From the wonderful bread to the seafood and sauces. Everyone has a bad day and some of you who say you were treated rudely, probably deserved it! Question - do you write reviews on the places you like too? or just complain about the ones you don't? One out of 100 actually write this stuff soooooo many others would have to disagree. They have been around for years - as long as I have been in Brandon. soo - they can't be that bad! I have always had great service and the owner just takes some getting to knowing. He makes dishes for us that aren't even on the menu!! Can't get that from Olive Garden. Pros: wonderful food more

Incredible Italian Cuisine 6/17/2009

The Veal Marsala melted in my mouth and I was impressed with how reasonable the prices were too. I'm originally from NYC and have had the opportunity to dine at many different Italian restaurants there. I am convinced that Angelina's is as good, if not better than most Italian restaurants in little Italy Pros: Veal/Grouper etc. more

Terrible Owner worst food ever 3/9/2009

I saw this place from the road decided to eat there what a mistake , waited 20 min for a menu , to find out food was not only awful but overpriced. Owner tries to be like tony soprano very unprofessial , olive garden is better then this place. I am 100 percent siclian this place , is not homemade gravy, or pasta probably chef boyarde. don't eat there more

All around disappointment 1/21/2009

Although our first visit to Angelina's was good enough to cause us to return for a second try, the second effort was extremely disappointing. The ravioli was drowned in red sauce and the chicken parm was a bit tough but the real kicker was the shoe-leather like veal -- totally unacceptable for any restaurant. To make matters worse, the owner/manager didn't even have the courtesy to stop by to express his condolences. The waitress -- who promised to convey our concern to the manager -- didn't bother to tell us what the manager set . No adjustment, no apologies. Just a suggestion from the waitress that we could have a box to take the leftover veal home with us. No thanks. Angelina's is off our list. Pros: Lot's of TV screens to distract you Cons: Difficult street access to parking; uncaring manager; slow service more
