I had been anticipating going to Anchos since being moving to Riverside and seeing their ads on cable. My husband mother in law and I went and it was terrrible!!! Despite all the recommendations on the wall. The food was low quality, tasted awful and was expensive for what it was. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would much prefer going to Alberto's on Hole or Miguel's Jr. anytime!! more

Anchos Southwest Grill & Bar 4/16/2006

We used to go here all the time after swim meets because the food is great and the atmosphere is terrific. The kids all love watching them make fresh tortillas in the middle of the restaurant. The waiters and waitress are all very friendly and make sure that your never out of drinks or need anything. The prices are very good and you get lots of food for your money. more

Anchos Southwest Grill & Bar 9/30/2005

It had been several years since my family & I had had dinner at Anchos. We moved from the vicinity. Recently our son moved to Riverside and last night we had dinner and we all selected Anchos. Nothing had changed, the same awesome cuisine as ever! Excellent quality of food and service. Viva Anchos! Always the best! more

greatest and friendliest service for this close to home and inexpensive restaurant. its a very friendly environment with a crazy style to it. the waiters and hosts are extremely friendly and are there at everyones beck and call more

Love it! 9/9/2005

My favorite thing about Anchos is the fresh chips. I am so used to store bought or processed chips, that visiting Anchos just for the fresh chips and salsa makes me happy. Luckily the food is just as fresh and good as the chips. The hostesses are really friendly, and the management is often out and about, which I like because they do seem to care about the service. The food is fresh, and I have never had anything there I did not like. It is all traditional mexican fare, and very well done. more

A pleasant surprise 8/21/2005

I had never tasted Southwestern food until I ate here, and I must say, it was very good, much better than I would expect it to be. I was surprised the place was so small, but it was able to fit my family. The food was very good and different, and the people that served us were very nice. The whole restaurant had a unique environment and contained a very friendly ambiance. more

Southwest never tasted so good! 8/4/2005

Great Food, Great Prices. If you want alot for your money, go here. Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your mommy and you daddy. Its all good, really good. The sitting area is limited but the food is well worth the inadequate seating arrangement. The wait time was good for a friday, and the waiter was courteous. This restaurant rocks! more

Southwestern Sizzle! 7/14/2005

This place is terrific for southwestern flavor. In the middle of the restaurant, they have a tortilla machine where they make the best homemade fresh, warm tortillas. They have a wonderful carne asada as well as fajitas. Everything is freshly grilled and doesn't feel too heavy. They also have a full bar. It is a nice family restaurant to go to. Service is great, and staff is friendly. more
