Excellent Indian Food, Great service 8/5/2006

We have NO good Indian Restaurants in our area (Ventura County, CA) so we drove the 30 minutes into the San Fernando Valley. We enjoyed the dinner combination for two people and thought $36 wasn't too bad, considering how expensive Indian food can be, and how much foox we received! The appetizers were very good, and we found all our entrees delicious. The service was very good, considering how busy they were. We are SO happy to find a great Indian restaurant only a 1/2 hour away..... we'll be back again and again! more

Best Indian Food on the West Coast 4/1/2006

I have eaten at Anarbagh over twenty different times and found their food always high quality and delicious. I lived in New York for several years and ate Indian food in all sorts of restaurants, from local dives that cabbies went to to the haute cuisine Indian inspired restaurants. There were a couple of restaurants better than Anarbagh. When I moved to Los Angeles I went to fifteen different restaurants, bitterly disappointed, until a client recommended Anarbagh. I only wish they had a buffet. more

Very average fare 8/12/2005

All the curries tasted similar & if there's anything I know its that North Indian food is diverse. Servings were small and the price was ok. The service was quite good, though - friendly & helpful. The restaurant was a tad too dark giving it a shady look. And whats with the weird paintings. more
