Friendly service, decent decor. The spinach salad was great. My wife's risotto was ok but bland and slightly overcooked. My gnocchi was ok, don't think they used real pancetta in it. Dessert was the worst thing I have been served at a restaurant. I orded the fruit torte and it differed completely from the description - it had clearly been frozen and thawed out. Overall I would say nice people but way overpriced for the quality. more

If you're going Gluten Free ask for Andy, he knows all there is to know to help guide you to a very delicious meal. I had the spaghetti w/Bolognese sauce and it was very good. They also have an Italian Market next door with GF products for home use. I will defiantly be returning to this fine Miami gem. more

Everything is amazing!! But the service could be better. After ordering the same dish for over a year on a monthly basis, all of sudden they tell me that not only can they not do it but that they never have. They wouldn't substitute white sause for red on the eggplant parmigiana, a dish I have ordered many times. The chef says he can't do it, has never done it and didn't particularly feel the need to accomodate me. I walked out, and have not been back, nor do I have any intention of returning. A shame! more

My husband and I always eat there when we visit our friend who owns ""Pizza Kitchens""...They have the best Italian food in all of Dade County....Their sauce is excellent, their food is top of the line...Joe and Maggie are the warmest host and hostess that we have ever met...It's like eating at your favorite relative's house (one that cooks good that is!!!)...We have plans for this Saturday night,, and we are both ecstatic....Their wait staff is top of the line...which also adds to the meal...We are up in Boca Raton now, and no other restaurant can compare to Anacapri's.... Good Italian home cooking and good service 8/9/2006

We've been going to Anacapri for years because the food and service are both good and consistent. Our preference is to have dinner on a week night because it is quite crowded and noisy on the weekends. The waitstaff are always pleasant and efficient. We've never had a disappointing meal but we do miss the authentic Italian cheesecake which is no longer on the menu. Job well done by the owners, Mr. & Mrs. Zuozo. We've been going to anacapri for the past 10 years. Joe and his family are wonderful hosts. You feel at home ""italian style"". The wine selection is incredible, and you can take evrything home from their market. It's a little hidden treasure in Miami. more
