Andrew came right when he said he would, provided helpful information about my furnace, and help me set up an appointment with an engineer.

Worst

We had an issue of the pilot light occasionally going out. American Vintage fixed that just fine, it seems, but now the thermostat does not seem to work. The furnace won't stay on...

Sewer Rodding 2/2/2018

We had a minor sewer backup. AVH sent technician Brian S. first thing the next morning. Brian is very knowledgeable, and seems to truly enjoy his work, which is very refreshing! Starting with a 2 inch cutter, he progressed to 4 inches, and then 6 inches, and used video camera inspection to make sure that our line was thoroughly cleaned. We appreciated the amount and informativeness of his communication with us. A very minor complaint is that he left water running in the basement utility tub. Also, AVH is not cheap. We had a $20 coupon, but the cost of service was still $500.00. I'm deducting a star for that reason. more

Sump pump and battery backup replacement 10/12/2017

American Vintage Home replaced an aging sump pump and battery backup at our house on 10/11/17. The tech, Brian S., did a great job. He arrived promptly for the job, and finished in less than the expected time. He took care not to damage or dirty floors, rugs, etc., and cleaned up thoroughly when he finished. He was also very polite and patiently answered questions following the installation. All in all, a very positive experience. more

rodding pipes for a clogged sewer drain. 10/5/2017

American Vintage Home was available the very next day that I called due to sewage in my basement. They determined the pipes needed to be rodded and were able to remove tree roots blocking my pipes. Brian S. was courteous and a hard worker. more

Polite, professional, and thorough. 3/1/2017

The technician (Sean) did a great job of checking in with me and letting me know what needed to be done, and the anticipated costs. I had a broken pipe in the wall that needed to be replaced. The work was done quickly, and everything was tested to ensure that there were no other issues. more
