Best Day Spa In Orlando 2/21/2008

WOW! What a day spent in heaven! I found this spa via the internet an realized it was close to my neighborhood. The service is outstanding, the autmosphere is very relaxing and the employees are all very friendly happy people. If you need a day of pampering and relaxing I would recommend you go To Amber SKin Clinic and Day Spa. I baught a spa package which was conveniently priced and affordable compared to other day spas. I had a manicure with Teresa, and it was the best french polish I have ever had, My Facial given by Viviana was outstanding, my skin looked refreshed, toned, and I even noticed I had a smaller pore size after she finished, she even used hot stones at the end for relaxation purposes, it was amazing. I am going to be a regular at this spa, from this day forward. they even have complimentary wine, champaign and herbal tea for all of their guests. I made an appointment for another facial & manicure to be done in the future. This was great service. They even do cosmetic teeth whitening which is something I will be looking into on my next visit! Made me feel Rejuvenated ! 1/4/2008

Wonderful experience. My husband bought me a gift certificate to the spa and i must say it was the BEST birthday present ever. Amber Skin helped me to just relax from all the stress I have in my workspace. I felt like a queen for a day. I love how they pampered me and offered me complementary champagne. My facial and massage felt so rejuvenating. My husband even told me that my skin never looked better (wow). I?m definitely going back again! Pros: value more

Not sure they know what they are doing 11/6/2007

I found a special on Criagslist for this spa, so I decided to give it a try. I bought 2 packages for over $200. I know that is not a lot of money to spend in a day spa, but its not the least amount either! The packages that I bought sounded like I was getting a good deal, but when I got there all the treatments were like mini treatments. I got a salt body scrub that was just gross. Most places you go have a place where they rinse the salt off of you with warm water. This place was freezing, and the lady used shower gloves to rub the little bit of salt that she used on me. Then proceeded to wipe the salt of with a towel. Then she tells me they do not have enough clean towels, so she rinses the one out she is using and continues. I really hope that it was clean when she started on me, and not one she had used prior. When it was all said and done, I was freezing with salt all over me and had to put my clothes back on. I could have went to the beach and jumped in the water and got a better salt scrub! Then after that, I shelled out another $300 for the teeth whiteing system they offer. What a waste!! The lady had no idea what she was doing, and my teeth looked exactly the same. Not even my boyfriend noticed a difference. I called and left a message, and emailed and never got a response. Do not waste your money here. Oh, and the posting about the rude foriegn lady, that is the owner. She did 3 of my treatments and acts like she is in another world the whole time! Peaceful Atmosphere 10/16/2007

I recently went for a relaxing facial and massage and loved every minute of it! As soon as I walked in the door I felt at ease. I was immediately greeted by the recoponist who was very friendly and offered complimentary wine while I relaxed before my services. The atmosphere was very soothing and after a long day at work, I truly appreciated it. I really enjoyed my experience and truly look forward to my next visit. I'd definitely recommend going to Amber Skin. more

About two weeks ago I was on city search looking for spa it was a miracle I found Amber skin. Then I remembered that one of my friends was talking about how wonderful the place was so I decided to call and ask about the services. The receptionist was so friendly she helped me book an appointment for a massage. The day I had my massage done was the best day I had ever had. It completely turned my day around I was so happy with the therapist Scott he was simply a miracle worker. At first the idea of a male masseuse scared me a little but after he told me about all his twenty years of experience I calmed down. Be sure to ask for Scott and you won?t be sorry. I am defiantly going to pay another visit to amber skin in the near future. more

Now i am stress free 3/24/2007

As a young bride I was very concerned about having everything ready for the wedding the stress was enormous. A few months before the wedding my mother recommend that i visit amber skin and it was the best choice I could make. I started off by getting a series of facials to have perfect skin for the wedding. At amber skin they treated me like a princess offering me water, champagne and treating me with the utmost respect. They were so good at helping me get a great deal for my five friends and myself to get everything (manicures, pedicures, massage, and facials) done the day before the wedding. All the staff was very knowledgeable and respectful we had a phenomenal day. Now my face has cleared up so much. I would highly recommend amber skin to anyone who enjoys feeling pampered and who would love healthy clear skin & truly amazing manicures & massages. Pros: great price,amazing service Cons: none more

Amber Skin Day is a great place to relax and to pamper yourself, you feel like heaven.... once you come in you can just feel the good energy, of the staff!!! The spa is warm and cozzy! It has been one of my best experience in a spa ever, they do the best facials and manicures and pedicures, I highly recommend Amber Skin Day Spa!!! Horrible manners! 1/25/2007

When I looked online and found Amber skin care I was super excited. The prices seemed fair and they had many optoions. I called and tried to find a facial and massage that would best suite my needs. The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant but unknowledge in what was offered. I was transfered to a foreign young lady who turned out to be amazingly rude. She had the worst phone ediquitte I have encountered in Orlando since since I moved here 10yrs ago. She rushed me off the phone before all my questions were answered explaing that there was some one more important on the other line! I didn't give this place another chance and unless they teach there staff proper manners I will not call again! more

fabulous treatments 12/1/2006

My fiance surprised me with a day at the spa for both of us on our anniversary. The staff was absolutely pleasant. They were so kind and made sure we were always happy and comfortable. The facial was absolutely heavenly. The manicure and pedicure were very relaxing and I love how my nails turned out! The body treatment was great too. When I left I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated. It's definitely what I needed to recharge my batteries. I plan on getting my sister a gift certificate so she can enjoy it too! Pros: service, treatments, relaxing Cons: none more

I bought a gift certificate for my mother who was visiting from Texas. She got a facial, massage and pedicure and she loved it! My mother has never had any spa treatments before and she said she felt like she was "floating on a cloud" by the time she got done. Everyone who works there was so sincere and kind. They made us feel welcome and important (some places can be so snotty). I highly recommend this place if you want great service! more

amazing waxing 11/11/2006

I've gotten a brazilian wax at numerous spa's in Miami and Orlando and Amber Skin was by far the best. Viviana is amazing at waxing. She knows exactly what she's doing. It's obvious she's been doing it for a long time. She has a very quick hand. She uses different wax depending on how sensitive your skin is and what area she's waxing. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a quick, painless, and amazing wax. Pros: quick, painless, experienced Cons: none more

I've had facials from New York to Miami to Paris, and Viviana's healing touch is the best I've ever experienced. A variety of facials are available, and it doesn't matter which you choose -- my skin has never looked better, and I leave feeling beautiful and relaxed. Melissa's pedicures are ethereal -- again, a healing touch, never hurried or impersonal. Simply the best (and she has a long list of clients, so call ahead!). The salon is intimate, the service personal -- I ask for a gift certificate every Christmas! Pros: A small spa with easy access, friendly professionals. Relaxing, personal ambience. more

When I first walked in, the receptionist was very friendly and inviting. She offered me beverages and made sure I was comfortable while I waited for my appointment. It had a very nice atmosphere to it. There was relaxing music and candles. The facial was absolutely amazing. The aesthetician made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Loved the facial but not so crazy about the so-called "massage" 9/15/2006

Overall I loved the atmosphere of this spa. Very welcoming and a beautiful serene setting inside. Although it was very difficult to find the place! I left early and still managed to get lost and ended up being 10 minutes late. I tried calling the spa to get directions and couldn't get anybody... The phone just rang and rang. The facial was very relaxing and rejuvenating. Loved every minute of it. Same goes for the manicure and pedicure I had. However, when I went to have my massage, well let's just say it was not that pleasant or very great for that matter. Well to start, I am a very friendly, outgoing person and I can have a conversation with anyone. So when I met with the massage therapist we began chatting. Instead of making me feel welcome and relaxed, she began to complain about her job and how she hates the owner of the spa. She just kept going on and on about how she hated this woman and how she is so greedy, that she takes $50 of the $70 that she charges for the massage and leaves the remaining $20 for the therapist's pay. I really felt awful for this young woman, but at the same time I was there to have a peaceful day and I felt very on edge when I should have been relaxing. Not to mention the massage itself was very short and I think I could have given a better massage myself. I'm not sure how this girl got her certification in the field. With all of the bad comments made about the owner (whether true or not) and the inexperienced therapist, I would not go there again. At least not for a "massage!"
