I've known Peter for a couple years now and can definitely say he is very nice and caring man. He goes the extra to step to make his patients feel comfortable. He makes home visits at nights, weekends, holidays, etc.. I bet you can't find many Prosthetists that do that! more

Dont' Believe the Stories there lies 4/24/2012

Alot of these emails are so old cause people don't see Am-Pro as it should be. Edf83 posted a comment and it is not true. You can't cover up something that the owner Peter Lira has done. He pays his patients money to make things sound good for him. Well that was when he had money. Now he has none it when in a Pipe Dream. If you Bribed me I would say good things too. But where are the on comming comments. Theres none. Check lasdorg put information on Peter Lira you will see for yourself he has jail charges. I live by him and know all he trash cause the cops live at his house always there. Don't go to ampro you will not get good service. more

Peter always goes the extra mile for his customers. 2/15/2012

Peter and I go waaaay back, I still remember when he used to come to my house and pick me up to take me to the clinic because I didnt have a car, Thanks to him I kept walking after a car accident amputated my right leg above the knee, now I'm 28 years old with a family full time job full time school, with a great prosthetic leg, I spend about 17 hours on my prosthetic leg through out the day need to say more???? Keep up the good work Peter! more

BEWARE OF MAN 2/13/2012

I see that the past reviews are very old and all I can say is this place has changed. I am in sales and can tell you that Peter Lira seems to have become a very angry troubled man. I could not believe my ears at the way he spoke to his staff and he constantly kept getting phone calls from someone who he yelled at!. I am guessing there is a lot going on with this guy and working in this field felt it was my obligation to let the public know. No one needs work done by someone who is this distracted and rude! more

Thank You Peter 4/1/2010

Before my injury I was very physically active, running, hiking, playing racquetball and chasing my eldest son as he learned to ride a bike. After my injury I was told by my doctor I would never be able to do things like I had before. I took that as a challenge. Even though I can't run quite as quickly as I used to, with the help of Peter and Am-Pro, I am back to all of my previous activities. Even chasing my youngest son on his bicycle, Thank You Peter for giving me my life back more
