Alston Bridges Barbecue 4/14/2006

Alston Bridges Barbecue is located on Grover Street just down from the hospital. They are nice and kind, service being great. I don't like the BBQ here, but I love the hot dogs. I have found their hot dogs to be some of the best in Shelby. I also like their hushpuppies. Many people in Shelby prefer this place for BBQ instead of other places. I don't, however. I do like the parking here. There is adequate parking here! Recommended but not highly. more

I don't like Alston Bridges BBQ. It's not that I don't like the restaurant. It's that I don't like the BBQ they serve there. But there have great hot dogs. LOL! The taste is what I don't like about the BBQ. My choice is another BBQ restaurant in town. This one doesn't cut the mustard for me. The service is good, and the employees are nice and kind. The location of the restaurant is good, but parking could be much better. I don't recommend Alston Bridges BBQ Restaurant for BBQ but for other dishes, they are good. more
