As public courses go this place is great. With a small par 3 9 hole and a long 18 put together you can decide which you'd like to play while eating lunch at the clubhouse. Either course makes for fun play but I'm partial to the 9 hole. Two or three holes are a little close to Redondo Beach Blvd, and road noise is annoying when trying to tee off, but for the cost I can't get a better play. No need for carts on the short 9 hole, but the long 18 sure feels long on a hot day. Bring plenty of water, even though the course has coolers every few holes.
