This use to be a fantastic place to go. NOT anymore though! After going here for nearly 3 years I can't believe what has happened to the place. For the last year I have only gone here as a last resort because it has steadily been worse after each visit. The nice ladies who use to work there are no longer. Just today I had a pedicure. The ""Spa"" pedicure including the usual foot massage lasted no more than 7 minutes! My cuticles were not even pushed back or fully removed with nippers. In fact they were barely touched and the soles of my feet, which should have been scrubbed, were not as well. So on to the lip wax...no preparation with cleansing prior. When I brought this to the attention of the woman giving the service she said it wasn't necessary because she could tell my skin was clean. I guess she's an expert on personal hygiene and feels she doesn't need to follow the guidelines taught in every cosmetology/nail school known to man. And when she reached in her drawer for a cotton ball afterwards It was filled with pads, cottonballs, swabs and anything else you might think of floating freely in the drawer being exposed to dust and dirt. Guess Sanitation is out the door. Having been a former cosmetologist student myself, I was astounded and disgusted. When I approached the owner who I know, I advised her of the service I received and mentioned the woman completing the wax was quite rude as well. She replied by saying thank you very much...have a nice day. There was no apology or effort to correct the issue. Simply dismissals of sorts by saying have a nice day. I would advise anyone looking for a nail salon to stay clear of this place.
Pros: close to my home
Cons: Appauling practices and customer service
