All Star Lanes

The first time I went to Billy Hardwick Lanes I ended up bowling for hours. I hadn't bowled in a while so I was really excited, Well till I looked in my pocket and realized I spent almost my whole days paycheck. OUCH! Anyway it was a really cool spot and they keep everything really clean. I your ball gets stuck they get it for you right away. Next time I went, I got to bowl for half price. I went to picounts.com and got some discounts ahead of time. I guess it pays to think ahead. more

I went in to take my children bowling on April 17, 2011. I received the worst service I have ever received since I have been going to this place. The man at the front counter seemed extremely racist. He tried to overcharge me and my sister because we are African Americans. We just wanted to spend time with our children. He tried to over charge us and refused to take my credit card. I wish I could get a hold of the owner. But then again these type of people are working for him so he has to be racist as well. We went in and tried to get a couple of games of bowling and he told us it would be $6.87 per person. And instead of explaining to us that is was including every thing per person for 2 games and shoes he just said per person. So I pulled a sheet with the prices on it and showed him where it was $2 for each game. Instead of him saying I apologize for the misunderstanding. He said "what do you want me to tell you?" I absolutely love to bowl here! Let me tell you...any where else, I would be hard pressed to go to. I go here almost every other weekend. I just can't get enough. The food, the music, the "midnight" bowling...o yea baby, that's my favorite part. But, how do I know it's the best? You mean, besides, what i've already listed, the fact that the house, is NEVER empty. Almost all the time, there is a big long list, and you generally, have to make a "reservation" there. That is, if you want to bowl, haha. The atmosphere, the people working there, it's all just one big party, and for a girl like me, party, is my middle name. I go no where else to have a time like I always do when i'm there. I love bowling at Billy Hardwick's! ABSOLUTELY!! more

Billy Hardwick's is the best Bowling Alley in Memphis for sure! They have a GREAT and very Helpful Staff, Great Prices, The NIcest and Cleanist Place. I really like the 2 sided house! 40 lanes total 20 on each side!They also Have The best Leagues! Leagues for everyone! Begginers - advanced - men's - womens - church and even good ole beer drinking leagues! I've been to all the bowling places around and after going here, I will never go to another center more

No one could call me a huge bowling fan. But a few times during the year I like to go Billy Hardwick's All Star Lanes with the family. When you first walk in, you'll notice an impressive eating area. You can get all of the usual food like pizza, burgers, and fried items (I never claimed said it was healthy!). There was some confusion as to their pricing policy. The guy working at the desk also seemed a bit perturbed when asked to raise the gutter guards for my kid. Overall, if you can get past the clerk's poor attitude, the computerized scoring makes for a fun afternoon or evening. more
