Great Coffee with an Urban View that will Keep You Occupied 12/29/2005

Really great baristas and great tasting coffee...but I love coming here just to check out the view of trains, buses, people, and architecture. It reminds me of those Richard Scary children's books where there's a million things going on at the same time. There's a great big window facing the South where you can sit for hours and watch the goings on of urban life. I love it when a train comes along entering into the tunnel. more

On your way to a Mariner's game and need an espresso fix? Would you like a beer or glass of wine after dinner in china town? Stop by the brand new All City Coffee on the corner of 4th and Washington. Soaring ceilings, local art, great Java... Free WiFi. The music isn't so loud that it gets in the way, and the collection is a nice blend of modern coffee house (e.g. air, snow patrol, thievery corporation, elliot smith, the shins -- i haven't heard any natalie merchant or blue note jazz yet, and in my book that's refreshing) more
