I brought the windows and shutters from them. A big mistake I made in life. Salesman promised a heaven but gave you a hell. I complaint them many times and got no response. Problems came one after another. The so-called Hunter-Douglas shutters are broken up, not operating right. The trims of the windows they used were the cheapest woods that made the expensive windows look so cheap. The work they done are totally disappointing. more

I used to work for this company, they are every bit as bad as the detractors say. My personal friend and former Regional Manager had the unpleasant experience of defending numerous small claims lawsuits against the company during his tenure. I had to take them to the California Labor Board just to make them pay me. They were even unpopular with their landlords. They were eventually evicted from their Costa Mesa location for failing to honor the terms of their lease. They regularly change contractor's license numbers and company name in attempts to obscure their many angry and regretful customers. Salesmen for the company routinely disguise as happy customers leaving positive reviews on site's like this to counter legitimate negative reviews left by legitimate angry customers. Take the one positive review listed below by Bunklevania. The name sounds Russian right? What a coincidence, the owner of Allbrand Windows is a Polish with Russian ancestry. It simply cannot be exaggerated, they really are THAT bad. Google their name, but spell the name ALLBRAND WINDOWS, not All Brand. Ignore the positive reviews mentioning the great savings and newly opened locations. These were left by employees. My poor friend and Regional Manager was in court nearly every week because of botched jobs. It became such a routine, he would try to schedule the court appearances in series to lessen the burden of appearing. When he finally quit, they stiffed him on his pay too. Unlike me, he just dropped the issue. They owed me nearly $500 while I waited a year for a hearing. Thankfully, my efforts were not in vane. I collected over 2K in owed back pay and penalties. As for Amir's comment listed below, he appeared at my hearing when Allband Windows settled my case against them. Where did he get the 32 complaint figure from? And even if that figure is valid, what about the multitudes who accept their sufferings in silence? Resist the temptation to simply assume I am some disgruntled and bitter past employee. Check the California State License board for past associated contractor's license numbers. If your research does not convince you to avoid this company, you deserve to be a victim. Pros: None Cons: Average window, poor and unreliable service, average installation at best more

Bottom line, these guys are good. I felt like they knew exactly what I was trying to describe, and their showroom helped me see what it was going to look like before I made a purchase. They have a bunch of brands, and you can compare them, look inside the window, and see what each brand is made of. They also installed my windows and gave me a lifetime warranty number to call if I ever have any problems. I had a hard time finding another window company that was this professional. Pros: good customer service, good products and craftsmen more

Do your self a favor. Stay away from these guys. They promised everything when they want your business. But they fail to deliver anything but excuses. They are plenty of other window suppliers in the bay area. And this is the ONE you should A-V-O-I-D. Never buy from again! Very disappointed.... More: Called the sales guy after waiting for 2 weeks and no sign of delivery/installation. He directed me to another person (that was not in the office) and said post-sale service is NOT his job. And complained how less he got pay and only 1 day off he had this year....What THE.....? This place is a Totally mess. Trust me...you will be regretful....just like me. Pros: None. Cons: Salesman showed up late. Terrible post-sale service. more
