Rev. Agnel de Heredia 12/21/2009

Please forgive me for writing this review. The reason I attended this church was because of Father Santos as he was the most approachable and humble priest I have ever met in my entire life as a Catholic. However, I also truly enjoy the new Associate Pastor, Father Mendoza, as he is just as humble as Father Santos. However, on the contrary, Father Agnel de Heredia is not as approachable as the other two priests. I'm surprised that he's still the Head Pastor of this church. The previous head Pastor of this church, Father Bill Justice who is now an auxiliary bishop of SF, was phenomenal!!! I truly miss him! When I attended the Dec. 12 Our Lady of Guadalupe mass at St. Mary's Cathedral SF, it was such an honor to see Most Reverend Bill Justice sitting next to our Archbishop George Niderauer. Basically, I have no motivation of sending my children to All Souls school and church as Father Agnel is not very pleasant to speak with. Therefore, I would rather patronize other churches especially St. Bruno's where Father Santos is an Associate Pastor. I pray that Father Agnel will find it in his heart that God is in control of all things, therefore, there will come a time that God could take his crown away from him. He should also not forget what it was like before he became the head pastor. I just wish that he was a humble priest. His behavior makes me and family want to leave the Catholic faith. Of all people in any congregation, the leader of the church should be setting a good example. Father Agnel does not fit the criteria as one of the followers of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Oh Lord, forgive me for writing this review, and please have mercy on me. Sometimes I do not blame when people start to leave their own parish because of its teachings not being Christ-like. I'm sorry but I find Father Agnel to be a hypocrite. I praise God though that he has an Associate Pastor who is so humble and can draw many parishioners especially from our Latino community. If Father Agnel does not behave in a more friendly manner, I just hope that All Souls School will not shut down like Mater Dolorosa, and that he will not anger some of the parishioners. Botoom line, he needs to practice what he preaches!!! Perhaps he needs to ask God diligently for patience, wisdom, kindness, knowledge and understanding! more
