Mrs

Our family loves All For Kids. My daughters usually see Dr Byrum and he is wonderful physician, very encouraging, very kind, suportive. After every visit he tells me what a wonder...

I thought I was happy until I switched to a doctor that could see my whole family. Turns out my son has had reflux since he was born. He was tested at 6 months old at All For Ki...

No Longer Being Seen 12/30/2007

I have read the reviews on this page and I have to say that there is truth in all. I, too just received a letter stating that my 2 year old son will no longer be seen at the clinic due to a past due co-payment. I am devastated because Dr.Byrum and Dr.Westbrook are wonderful. I have always had some type of issue with the front desk staff being rude and/or somewhat disrespectful. I don't know what could be done about turning people away but I do feel like this is something the Board of Directors should know about if they are unaware..Thanks for everyone who has posted reviews, sometimes it's good to know that you're not the only one going through this. And for the parents who had to find other clinics and found a great one; please post a listing if possible.. My son is my only child and has been seen by Dr.Byrum from day one. more

It is hard for me to say this!!!! 12/24/2007

I have (had) been taking my 4 children, including my newborn triplets to Dr. Salman and Dr. Westbrook for over a year when somehow a past due balance came up one that I was unable to cover, I had Arkids at the time and did the research, Arkids was supposed to pay for it, but didnt. Now here I was, with my year old triplets and 2 year old son that had to be seen by a new doctor. They said they would allow my triplets to still see the doctors there, but my son was out. Its hard having one child seen by a different doctor across town. This is nothing against the doctors there, some of the doctors there had seen me since I was a teen and that I why I chose the clinic. The doctors are great, dont get me wrong, but something about the money and past due balances just urked me. All of my children are now seeing a new doctor...unfortunatly. more

Not as good for everyone! 11/21/2007

now, it's okay to give your opinion about the Staff, etc. @ All for Kids, but everyone has not had a good, jolly, and welcoming time at this Clinic, so please don't make it seem to be, what it's not! I have had several bad experiences with the Staff; front desk people especially. Dr. Byrum is an excellent Doctor and if it was not for him, I would not ever come to this Clinic. I am a African American and it has been my experience that, Caucasians are treated with more respect. I have some of the best insurance, a very good job, as well as my husband, and I am blessed. I have came into the Clinic and had to wait for well over an hour, because of the scheduling conflict with the Nurses (this was not my fault, but a lack of communication between the front desk and the Nurse). I waited and saw for myself, several families come in and out, while I continued to wait. Now, when I finally had enough of the waiting, I went to the front desk and was not recognized, until the Secretary (?) felt th more

I have two patients of Dr. September Westbrook and I would highly recommend this clinic to parents who are shopping for a wonderful pediatrician. We visit the clinic several times a year due to one child with food and outdoor allergies. Dr. Westbrook and her staff have always been great about listening intently to my children and then following up with words of support and encouragement, along with appropriate medical treatments. Most of the time when I have called needing an immediate appointment they have worked us in, with a minimal wait. We must also remember as patients that oftentimes our waits are due to the doctors having emergencies they must attend to. I try to remind myself that the emergency could have been for my own children and I would certainly have appreciated the doctor seeing to my child first. \r If you do choose Dr. Westbrook as your child's pediatrician I can guarantee you that you will be a very happy mommy or daddy because she is a top-notch doctor and a sweet, s more

Unbelievable 6/6/2007

I was turned over to collections for owing All For Kids. I was totally unaware of this until I get the letter from the collection agency along with a letter from All For Kids stating that they were no longer responsible for the health care of my children. I was told I was sent a certified letter but I never got it so this was a HUGE surprise to me. Here's the kicker, EVEN after I clear up my balance I can no longer come to this clinic to see my children's primary care physician who has seen my 6 year old and 20 month old daughters since they were born!! I have never been told that. Yes I owe them money but I am devastated that even if I pay it, I will have to find another doctor? Isn't this affiliated with BAPTIST hospital??? Not very forgiving as Jesus would want it to be in my opinion. more

Love AFK! 11/5/2006

I love All for Kids! Their staff is friendly, the nurses are great with my children, and the doctors are wonderful. We mostly see Dr Martin. She is an absolute Godsend. She is also a mommy, which makes a big difference in my book! Very personable and sweet. We have three children and I would not take them to any other clinic! PROS: Everything CONS: We typically have to wait awhile...but the care we get makes up for it! more

While I do like the doctors at this practice, my only complaint would be that Nurses operate the exchange, the doctors do not take exchange calls. I would like to be able to speak with a doctor at night or weekends, when calling the exchange as the Doctor can write prescriptions and such, where as the nurse can NOT, leaving you the option of the ER or waiting till morning or Monday. The staff and nurses are very friendly and helpful, and I do like the availability of Saturday morning hours! PROS: Saturday hours CONS: Nurses on call/exchange more
