What a wonderful morning I had at Alexander Hairdressing today! I love the new cut Jessie gave me last week, and I love the highlights she added today. A gem of a salon! 5/24/2010

I was very impressed with Debbie and all of the staff at Alexander Hairdressing. Debbie was so knowledgable and friendly! I walked away with an excellent cut, as well as some valuable information about how to work with my hair. I enjoyed the atomsphere of the small, busy salon, and especially loved the cappuccino they served while I waited for my appointment. I will certainly be back again and again for services. more

A completely fantastic experience!!! I have been to a number of salons in Orlando and after five years, have finally found a salon with everything I need. After a full hair makeover with Jessy, I am thrilled with Alexander Hairdressing. Had a great cut and color, strong consultation, and felt totally appreciated for the service. Best Hairstylist east of the Rockies 5/7/2010

It took many hairstylists and really bad haircuts before I finally found Debbie. Before she moved to Orlando from Scotland, I had actually resigned myself to having long hair which was not something I really wanted. I am so glad she moved to Orlando because in the hierarchy of priorities, perfect haircuts is right up there with good food and excellent wine. Best color of my life! 5/7/2010

I've been meaning to write this months ago and that is how long i have loved my color! My natural color is a dark blonde and i wanted bright hilites but not chunky. Debbie 'painted' me and by watching her, i thought the outcome wouldn't be what i wanted... it was AMAZING! so natural that i couldnt believe myself in the mirror. She is the top colorist and stylist and SO worth it. I just went back in for a 2nd time to see Debbieto get my roots done and could not be happier! Pros: high quality, gorgeous space more

Love Alexander Hairdressing 4/20/2010

I started getting a few grey hairs and have been on the search for the best salon in the city to cover them without a trace. I have never colored my hair before so this was a big deal. I am a brunette and my biggest fear was that my hair would be one tone and all the natural highlights would be gone. Jessie did an amazing job. She made sure that my color was exact and that it was still multi dimensional, not to mention the amazing cut she gave me afterwards. Her apprentice rocked as well. I think her name was Melissa. Had a great time 4/15/2010

I was told about Debbie from a friend. She was busy the day i needed to come in but she assured me that all the other girls were great so I took a chance. I got my hair cut and colored by Marissa and she really listened to what I asked for. I have never had someone get what I was saying before, I didnt know if i was making sense but she totally got me! Everyone was having a great time and it felt like I was hanging out with my friends. I tell all everyone about Alexander Hairdressing now and how they would be a fool not to go there. Super stylish Haircuts 4/14/2010

After my haircut with Debbie, everyone was asking me where I got my haircut. I brought a picture of what I wanted and Debbie did an excellent job duplicating it. People were shocked at how much the cut change my look.They carry an excellent line of thickening products and are about the nicest hairstylists I have ever met. Pros: so friendly, so sleek and cute. Curls in the Past! 4/14/2010

Jessie thermal straightened my hair a year ago and I cannot imagine going back to curly hair. Jessie is fabulous to interact with and extremely conscientious. I did consultations with four professionals at different salons and Jessie was the only one to do a test strand and to express caution regarding a particular aspect of my hair. In the end, I went with her and love the result. My hair is so much easier, does not change with the weather, and looks and feels better and healthier than it did when it was curly. No damage at all. Since my long standing stylist moved out of town, I couldn't seem to find someone who truly understands color. I selected Alexander's based totally on the reviews. Marissa gave me her thoughts on the best color and cut for me.....she was right on target with what I had wanted. The finished product was GREAT! Marissa is a gem with color, but also takes her time....I never felt rushed. The salon is high-end, but all the staff are friendly and go out of their way to give one a pampered experience. Finally, a hair salon without stylists competing and gossiping about each other. I have lived in Orlando for 10 years and really enjoy my time at Alexander Hairdressing. Everyone is so friendly and they have fun there talking about fun, silly things instead of ""who did what to you"" - boring!!! Debbie and Janice both do my hair and I love them both. Nothing Better 3/10/2010

I had the most amazing experience today. I went in for the first time not knowing what to expect and instantly felt welcome and at home. Debbie knows what she's doing and what she's talking about. Everyone there was happy to be there (staff and clients). I am getting married soon and it feels so great to know that I at least know who will do my hair and make-up. If you haven't been to Alexander Hairdressing then you are missing out on a wonderful experience. I recommend this salon to everyone; men and women. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

Do you have all the time in the world? 2/26/2010

I left pretty happy with my cut and color typically, but without fail the stylist was always late then I would have to sit there for practically hours. I would get a single process color and trim and for some reason be there for around 2.5-3 hours (on top of waiting 30 mins for the stylist to be ready). I couldn't stand how long it took - though in their defense, they are taking their time - which I guess is better than rushing, but I left the salon for someone that can work more quickly and efficiently, but do a great job. I'm new to Orlando and come from the Northeast where there is a plethora of great salons and stylists. I'm finding this isn't the case in Orlando. Pros: Great products (love Kerastase) & stylists take their time Cons: Late, late and always late. more
