was a good place to have car serviced but seems like its gone downhill fast after alexanders sold it. the people I trusted have been let go or they were smart and left. several decent mechanics are gone and younger novices replaced them. who manages this and who watches over? looks like the out of state new company has'nt a clue how to run car dealers in tennessee. maybe they should hire qualified management, I do not know many people who still use this place for anything but warranty work as the new culture is a source of great umbrage. more

For you to imply they did not want to fix it under warranty is ridiculous. They get paid either way. It sounds like you were wanting to get something for nothing. Get a life more

I was initially pleased with Alexander Ford when I first purchased my vehicle. Upon purchase, I was promised in writing a new button for the mirror switch on my car. I was told the button was on order. After a week, I checked back an the button had still not arrived. I was told it would be in soon, or one would be taken from another vehicle. After another week, I was told it was on back order, then promptly hung up on. Now it has been a month, and I still have no button and the seller is ignoring my phone calls. Don't do business here. They take your money, then leave out to dry. more

Alexander Ford Murfreesboro has the worst sales service, especially after the sale. Overcharged me for my new tag and took way too long to get it. Won't return calls. Paid for Certified Preowned inspection and warranty and they did not do what the inspection contract says they were to do. They are too much hassle to deal with and I do not like not getting what I pay for or being overcharged. I will not do business with them again. Too bad I spent so much money with them on the purchase of my vehicle. more

I have used Alexander Ford to purchase 3 new vehicles over the last few years with absolutely no hitch. I run a Tree and Landscape Business here in Nashville, so the trucks we need are to say the least, a little odd and are also custom orders to specific spec. The time that I have spent at the dealership has been excellent along with all the other things that go into buying a new vehicle. I have found that I even still talk to my salesmen even a year later after our last purchase, most of the time just to say hi. I do find some of these other reviews a little disturbing due to the fact I have a hard time imagining anything but the great service I was awarded. I am not discrediting anyones response to these manors, but simply letting others know that I have been using Alexander Ford over the last 4 years and never once had a problem and will continue to use them for our vehicle needs. Worst Dealer/Service Department Ever 6/29/2009

I went here to look at a car. I let them see my car for trade-in estimations. After test driving their car overnight, I told them I would need to think about it. I didn't feel the price was the best I could get. They told me they had already sold my car to the wholsesaler. After hours of arguing, I gave up and purchased the car. I left feeling taken advantage of and mad. The dealers all looked like typical car dealers; slicked back hair, etc. One even asked me out...how unprofessional. Cons: Expensive, Deceptive, Rude more

worst experience ever 1/6/2009

I recently had my vehicle repaired at Alexander Ford Collision center, and it was the worst experience ever. My car had about 5K worth of damage and when i got it back the repairs were so poor, that my insurance company that had originaly recomended the shop had to pay again for the repairs to be corrected at another collision center, they even had a chance to fix the problems and could not do so. I do not agree with the other reviews at all! I had a very pleasant and professional experience at Alexander Ford's Collision Center. My car was done in a timely manner and came out perfect. Sure they didn't fix the radio for me, seeing how it had nothing to do with the damage on my car nor was it a result of the wreck. All the staff Randy and Ken, and the Manager, David, was very nice and respectful to me and my wife. Seems like some of these people want something for nothing and my car turned out perfect and was done quicker than I expected! Thanks Alexander Collision. Hope I don't have to come back soon, Don't really want to have another wreck, But if I do I WILL BE BACK!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT JOB! Don't get service here, they are slow, arrogant and don't consider the customer 10/27/2007

My Ford F150 was in an accident the impact was at the Left Rear Wheel. The only obvious damage was the rim and the hub. I took it to Alexander Ford in Murfreesboro and the Collision Dept took pictures 3 seperate times, guess they aren't to good with a camera. They said they have to order the rim and hub, I told them I wanted them to replace the wheel bearing and check the axle and differential. They said it should only take a day. They called on a Monday and I told them I would bring the truck on Thursday morning. We cleaned and check the truck over on Wednsday and got it to them 8:30 Thursday morning. We called at 4pm and they said the Service Dept was just starting to look at it and that it wouldn't be done til the next day. I yelled at both the Collision Center and the Service Dept. When I finally got the truck back we looked it over and it had a more than a dozen chips in the paint, several scratches and 2 gouges at the bottoms of the doors. When we brought this to David's attention in the Collision Center he said that in no way did they cause the damage and basically called us liars. I don't recommend having service done here, they are slow, arrogant and don't consider the customer. Conrad in Smyrna. Pros: They eventually got the job done. Not Recommended worst body shop ever 8/10/2006

This body shop was terrible. Alexander Ford has a very mean manager named David and he is not out to help anyone but himself!! Very RUDE!!! Gave me my car back looking worse than before I took it in and offered nothing but a kick out the door!! Stay away from this place!! Cons: Big Time Liar and is not worried about customer satisfaction at all! more
