Wonderful Service. Always takes the time to talk with you, regardless how busy they are. May not always be on time, emergencies happen, but the personal service is well worth the wait. With only one vet you know who you will see, instead of all those other vets that have so many on staff, you have to explain everything (animals history) all over again each time. You get the personal, at home service with Dr Briles and his staff. Reminds me of the country vets I grew up with...something that's hard to find in the city. He even took the time to address an issue through emails and phone calls when I wasn't even in town. Wish I found Dr. Briles when I first arrived in the area...I will always choose Dr Briles as long as I'm in the Humble/Aldine area more

200% PLEASED ON EVERY ASPECT OF THE VISIT! 7/9/2011

I soon as I called to request an appoitment, the receptionist was more than helpful. She answered all my questions and even took my rescued kitten and in right before closing time on a saturday. Once we arrived, the staff was very comforting and friendly, unlike what you get in typical doctor's office. We filled out the information and in no time my kitten was being taken care off. Overall the staff, place, ambiance, and procedures price are the best in town. I encourge you to bring in your pets to them; you will not regret it! more

In it for the money!! I DON""T THINK SO By Dr. Briles 2/15/2011

That?s pretty bad. I heard that someone wrote a bad review about my clinic after they had surrendered a puppy to me. I just wanted everyone know that I took this puppy in and did not ask for any funds. I treated her and found her a new home with someone who I trusted. And this is the thanks I get for doing it. I?m sorry if I?m in a rush and have a lot people to see, but I have never neglected any animal left on my door step (And I have had a lot of them!!!!!) or surrendered to me. And If I was in it for the money I would have not bought the clinic from Grimley and Moore, which abandoned ya'll because of people like this. So, Thank You pegwagers for leaving a bad review when I helped your little baby in a time of need!!! more

Aldine Animal Hospital is in it for the money! 11/19/2010

I have had my dog there several times for shots and check-ups. I had even referred my friend to take her puppy there for shots, so they know me. I live right up the street. However, I rescued a very sick puppy that someone had thrown out behind our house, He was about 8wks. old and literally a walking skeleton!! We tried for 2 days to get him to eat and we gave him a worm med because his belly was so distended. He just kept throwing up and looking so sad and pitiful. So we took him to Aldine Animal Hosp. today and told them we would not have any money until this evening as I am on disability. Dr.B and his mother, the receptionist just looked at him and me and said they could do nothing without money. They said they were running a business and for us to come back when we had the money. They were very cold and said we could sign over the release papers and have him put to sleep but without the cash they would do nothing for him. I explained to them that this was a puppy I rescued and I really needed help for him but they said they would not help me without the money. I don't know, but if I were a animal loving vet and I think they should be, I would have at least tried to help this little pup. They are rude and cold hearted and obviously in it for the money!! So I signed over the pup and they just took him out of my arms and took him to the back and said nothing. My husband and I were both crying and they just acted like we were crazy. No sympathey or kind words to us or the little dog. It could have been trash for all they cared. more

Not a good impression at all 11/5/2010

The new owner is not knowledgable in surgery. He seems to have a wonderful exam room manner but is unfamiliar outside of typical ailments. more

Love turned to Hate 10/14/2007

The doctors are nice, but there is a very rude, curt, impolite, acidic receptionist there. I have used this clinic for years, since 1988 and before if you include the pets my family had as a child. We had several Bassette Hounds over the years and I personally had a cat spayed here. My cat had complications from this procedure and subsequently died, but I never contacted the clinic after this. (I was very young and naieve)Almost ten years latter I have become the proud owner of two dachshunds who have visited this facility for the past three years. I had been very happy with the services, until this year. Pros: clean, close, Cons: rude receptionist more
